Don’t come to eat in this place it’s not like use to be 15 years ago. They serve people in to go plates we not feel like we eating in restaurant no more , the waiters was nice but the quality horrible , they came with the excuses that they serve like that since the pandemic , it’s not excuse period. Am not going to go to this place anymore 😡

Never I again will I come. Crazy this plate went from $13 to $16, if I’m paying that much for a plate I expect a drink with it and larger portions cause this is just crazy.

Had to update review gave 5 stars but took away everything cause I ordered fries didn't expect soggy fries like I know McDonald's is knows for that but seriously you to. Ordered a burger somewhere along the way they probably went to Save-A-Lot and got frozen beef patties and tried to pass it off as fresh. Then my tomato was slimy and the lettuce was brown as dirt. Oh well was good then fell apart guess you don't want business anymore

I ordered 5 wings. I got home and saw drumettes. No one is answering the phone. Very disappointed in customer service.

I was very happy to try some soul food and my expectations were very high but I was highly disappointed. I ordered the turkey wings, yams, mashed potatoes and cabbage. The food was not seasoned well, only salty. Where's the butter, vanilla and cinnamon for the yams which were very stringy? The turkey was tough and tender at the same time, which meant it was old and reheated. After a few bites, I was left with skin, bones and the wing tip. Mashed potatoes were hard, dry and not seasoned. Cabbage was okay but I didn't even finish it. So very disappointed!! ?

Gotta say driving by almost twice a weeks I see this finally stopped in. 100% amazing. Super friendly great food, almost was tempted to go back for another plate. Definitely worth going to and I will be back to enjoy this place.

Oh my goodness ❗️ I ordered a big back platter … ok I made that name up lol. But the chicken was hot, crispy and fresh. I had a taste for rice, cabbage and French fries and I got all 3. The sweet tea was so good and the service was pleasant. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be back soon.

Whatever you do don’t get the oxtail. I bought a large oxtail and it was empty when you open the box. Then on top of that it was mostly bones and no meat highly disappointed. I will not be back.

First time customer today, I ordered the brown stew chicken special with a side of mac&ch. I’m American so I’m always down to try black owned restaurants and support them but the mac&ch tasted spoiled and elbow noodles were overcooked. The rice was ok thanks to the gravy and the chicken was alright. I’m always gonna pay the price your asking but let’s be mindful of the temperature and quality of the food, everything can’t be put in the fridge and reheated the next day or two to serve. Will go try this place again Yes because they have a large selection but I know to order something that has to be cooked to order… Oh and customer service wasn’t pleasant for me either
