On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

One of the WORST restaurant experiences that I have ever experienced! The manager was rude and absolutely clueless. I was a party of 1 that needed to sit and use my laptop before my flight as I had a couple of hours and needed to work remotely. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, they told me I could wait at the bar and get something until a table was ready, which was fine with me. This was until the lady at the bar said “it wasn’t fair” to the next server at the table if I ate both places and didn’t want to even serve me a drink or snack. After over 45 minutes more of waiting at the bar (and not being served) AND being ignored by my requests to the manager for assistance, I left. (Without even getting a glass of water while I was sitting at the bar the entire time!) After reading how much food poisoning this restaurant has, it was probably for the best that I didn’t get served. Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid this place at all costs. No draught beer which they say they haven’t had for a month.

Worst service I have ever received in my life, waited for 50 mins for a starter/appeitzer thru the mobile app. It was only supposed to take 15-20 mins.

Staff not friendly and service is beyond slow. Food was okay for airport food but not what I usually expect from On The Border. Very disappointed!

Wait staff was very negative and not friendly at all! Sucks but late at night is the only place on Terminal A on gates 1-29 that has decent food!

I had a lovely meal here on 5/28/25. Tammy is excellent!! The food was great, super tasty and quick. I couldn’t disagree more with any bad reviews. Comprehensive menu, everything I had was delicious and it’s a cute spot that is clean and organized. I absolutely recommend. And again, Tammy is great!

Food was cold, salty, nasty tortillas literally paid to not eat.

The waitress was ok I guess she doesn’t cook. However didn’t even brought chips and salsa.

I would never eat there again waste of my money period.

Long wait in the airport. Unreal. Tried ordering using the QR code because the server felt like doing anything but waiting on tables but it only resulted in an error message. See pic.

Slightly pricey, OK to good Mexican food, good drinks, friendly service. I liked the guac. Our server was very nice, and helpful with my wife's gluten sensitivity. Love the biodegradable straws

This place is the literal worst at working through their waitlist. We were number 11 and then all of sudden we gave up, and our spot was called after we got yelled at for taking their empty table because they were being so slow. Avoid and go to a different bar and save yourself. The employees here have an attitude and don't want to do anything.

Imara took my order and seemed to be frustrated I didn’t understand her Spanish. The card reader wasn’t working and she had me try several cards none of which went through as It was an error with the machine. I ordered my food at 8:07 per My receipt and I didn’t receive my Burrito and eggs until after 8:30. The food was less than mediocre and she had a serious attitude problem!
