On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

I wish I remembered her name but our waitress last night was super sweet. She mentioned she was a teacher and a mother of two. Our 9 month old son adored her and she didn't mind him making a mess or grabbing at her apron. Small interactions and connections change the entire dynamic of something as simple as eating out and make memories.It was really nice to get away from the parks and resorts to sit down for a relaxing meal at a familiar restaurant. The food was great and the kitchen did a great job getting things out even with a large carry out volume.

Very nice and clean looking restaurant. The waiter was VERY nice. The food was good and we got a large serving. 3 of our 4 had to take to-go boxes! We would definitely eat here again.

We waited forever to get served. We even had to flag the waiter down and ask. He was very kind but super busy. The entire night I felt like our table was invisible. The Mexican food is very Americanized and looked like it was microwaved. It made my stomach upset. Both of my friends and I went to bed nauseous after eating the food here. I almost threw up. They didn't even have guacamole for the chips. The margaritas were amazing though.

Food was really good but our server was the worse. We had to ask a couple times for her to bring us the rest of our order, didn't offer to refill our cups and had to ask 3 times for her to bring us boxes for our leftovers. Again the food was great and I'm sure you'd enjoy it if you get better waitstaff!

Delicious food! Still at half capacity due to covid

I ordered the shrimp fajitas... And was Highly disappointed. BUT they did replace it with a very nice steak. The floors around the bar could be swept more... Lastly even after my replaced steak the new silverware I received was dirty and there was even rice rolled in the napkin with it... I'm upset... But I've had worse.

Very nice place. I was here at lunch on a Tue. The special that day was tacos for $2. I order two and I will have to say they very well may have been the best two tacos I ever had.Update: since the first visit I have been two more times. Today was the third visit. Both of my follow up visits was not impressive. I had tacos on both follow ups and they where nothing like my first visit. I am reducing from 5 stars to 3. Don’t know if they got a new cook or the first time was just an accident.So there you have it.

Delicious food, chips and salsa included, and damn good margaritas. The price is fair for this type of restaurant and the food is definitely worth it. Staff was fast and kind.Plus $2 tacos on Tuesday.

Food was good, could have been more flavorful and hot. Drinks were on point. Staff were a bit disoriented but we were in and out in no time.

Food wasn’t the best. And the portions small compared to what they charge. Host and waiter were great I must say!

Had VERY slow service to get started. Good chips and salsa! Once we got served she was great! Taco deal on Tuesday is a great deal!!

Food is hit or miss. Been here four times, ordered the same thing and it's been made differently all four times. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Just wish food was consistent.

Our server was so friendly, the food absolutely amazing, and came really quickly. We were a party of 5 and everyone said their food was some of the best Mexican they'd ever had. Mucho margaritas are only $5 this month too! Highly recommend this place.

Saturday night we stop at On The Border and had a great experience. We walking in and was told it was going to be 25 to 30 minutes, so we decided to sit at the bar. We where greeted by Michael, who took our drinks order. Few moments later we had our drinks and then Deidre brought us some chips and salsa. I ask Michael what his name was he told us and ask for names which is how he address us the rest of the night. Mike took our appetizers order, and brought us fresh drinks. Shawn brought our appetizers The Border Sampler which look and tasted awesome. Deidre took our dinner order which was the Create your own and we choose the pick 4, we chose 2 soft taco and 2 beef empanadas. The food arrived just as we finished our appetizers, and was delivered by Shawn who asked if we needed anything else. The food was great, right temperature, and portion size was just right. The entire evening was awesome and next time we go to orlando we will stop in and see Michael, Deidre and Shawn. You made our night.
