Orlando City Deli

Drove 30 minutes out to this place on a whim…only to have a SPIRITUAL experience eating my first NewYoRican Style chopped cheese. The meat, cheese, and veggie ratio, complimented by the kick of the pickles will live on in my mind for the rest of the week until I inevitably come back to relive the experience (preferably in the next 24 hours)

Eric was so kind, appreciative, and clearly knows what he’s doing with that grill. The shop was clean, full of art, and incredible music. I couldn’t ask for a better time.

You’re only cheating yourself by denying yourself the Orlando City Deli experience if you haven’t had it yet!!

Went to try you for the 1st time after looking at the Instagram posts for over a year, made sure to arrive up to 15mins early because my sister & I were SO excited but unfortunately they didn’t open at 10am as they’re supposed to. Waited 20mins after the supposed 10am opening before deciding to leave. Very disappointing. 🤷🏻‍♀️….. in addition because I posted this review the owner wants to comment complaining that I went to Google with my review. Human or not, when you have a business with “Business Hours” it is there responsibility that the business is opened ON TIME regardless of any last minute situations. That’s why it’s a BUSINESS, you should always be prepared for this last minute things that occur. Not sure I’ll take time out of my day again to even try it at this point. In addition any NY Style Deli would be opened way before 10am on a Saturday anyway. Punto y Final!!

Phenomenal food. If you don’t know what to get then get the chopped cheese. The owner was very accommodating and helped me order. Great place definitely going back.

OMG!!!!!! I stopped by for the first time today heading back to Miami and I came and order the chop cheese with a side of fried plantains. The ambiance was comforting and welcoming which I truly love. However, when I tell you I wish they had a location in Miami Dade I was sort of upset with myself for eating it too fast. The sub had so much flavor along with the freshness of the toasted hoagie roll. The plantains were fresh out of the grease and salted to perfection paired with their house Aoili which I had to come back in to get one more to enjoy with my chop. Customer service were tremendous and anytime I’m in Orlando I will most definitely stop by. Thank you again.

Great little place, I went in on my lunch break and the food was delicious. They make these pies in house AMAZING!!

Whenever you’re on orange blossom trail make sure to stop into here! The most authentic NY deli/bodega style you could find in Orlando! Shoutout to Ian, Jay, And Dupree the day I came and made my experience the best and I will come back for more!

Super cute deli with the most friendly staff. The cheese steak is literally the best I’ve ever had and I love cheese steak subs so that’s saying a lot. We will make this a regular visit when we do come downtown!

Jeanette and Eric’s establishment was the best find as a local. This review is past due, last weekend my spouse and I were blessed to be positioned to work EDC right next to Orlando City Deli. We felt blessed! The chopped cheese is no doubt top tier worth the comeback every time. You can literally watch Eric chef it up & make your meal from beginning to end. I don’t eat just anywhere & I don’t come back if I don’t feel it.

This place reminds me of back home in NY. The food is on point it taste better than back home to be honest because E&J don’t miss. Every time I swear it tastes better than before.
E&J have me and my family spoiled from the Bacon egg & cheese to the Chopped Cheese, to the Chopped Chicken to The Steak and cheese better than Philly, did I mention the Pastellios CHACHO OMG. Delicious I’m telling y’all come check this spot out if you’re from up north and you see the Food , The Vibe and service is off the hook.
I salute you E&J. Thank you for bringing a part of home to Orlando.
