Great atmosphere on a Sunday, we came with our baby and they were very welcoming and pleasant. We ordered the Crab Salad, croquetas and Media Noche, absolutely delicious. Also their coffee is fantastic! Will definitely be coming back to try more food items!
There are way better spots in Orlando for both Cuban food and drinks. Way too expensive for what you get.
Best drinks I’ve ever had
Great restaurant in Orlando! the meat is delicious and the pork
I've been reviewing the best of the best in Orlando for over 5 steady yrs! I've had wonderful experiences, great food from everywhere you could imagine. My palate is extremely versatile and I will try anything. Rarely do I come across an experience that makes me wish I could go above the limits of the 5 star rating system. This visit was absolutely one of those rare gems! From the moment we entered we were greeted with smile after smile until seated. We chose to sit at the bar because as a foodie, I have an understanding that this is where things could fall apart. On the contrary! I was met by two absolute professionals at their jobs! They enjoyed their jobs and took meticulous pride in what they did. This reflected onto my drinks and food selection. McKenzie is absolutely outstanding at what she does. Then there was Jason. Sheer and absolute pride in his drink making abilities. The menu, you ask? Which one? Because the food menu had some very interesting choices and Ropa Vieja, Pork, and pastelillo de carne where among my choices. Then there was the shrimp cocktail. The sauce had me dancing in my seat! Even the dip for the cuban bread was delicious!! Then the drink menu!!!! Ah, yes! Nothing on the list is boring and the names bring some growing up memories. Watching McKenzie take attention to detail to another level with accurate and well received drink garnished and Jason making 4 different drinks perfectly measured at one time. I got to drink some of his mixes and I can honestly say ..perfect! The entire experience from beginning to end was levels above the rest! Enjoy the food, enjoy the drinks, the fun crowd, great decor, dog friendly environment, outdoor seating. But mostly....enjoy the service of people who seem genuinely happy to do what they are enjoying with a Proprietor that seems to appreciate their input. Great ambiance! I recommend sitting at the bar and watching the fireworks! Great taste! Great service! Oh, did I mention the clean as heck bathrooms!!!
A Five-Star Experience at Otto's High Dive – Where Hospitality Shines Bright
From the moment we walked through the door at Otto’s High Dive, we knew we were in for a special night. Located in a vibrant part of town, Otto’s has a cool, elevated charm that hits you right away—the kind of place that feels like a well-kept secret, even though it's buzzing with life. But what truly set the tone for our incredible evening was Megan, the hostess, whose warmth and energy immediately made us feel like we were VIP guests.
Megan greeted our group with a genuinely welcoming smile and an effortless enthusiasm that’s become increasingly rare in the hospitality world. She didn’t just ask how many were in our party and escort us to a table—she took a moment to engage with us, ask about the occasion for our night out, and feel out the kind of experience we were looking for. That little extra effort made all the difference. After chatting with her briefly, she suggested we sit at the bar rather than a standard table, promising us an even more engaging and personalized experience. And wow—she was absolutely right.
Enter Daniel, our bartender for the evening. Sitting at the bar turned out to be the highlight of our entire night, and Daniel was a major reason why. From the moment we took our seats, he brought a level of hospitality and professionalism that was truly impressive. Daniel wasn’t just slinging drinks; he was curating an experience. He asked us about our flavor preferences, recommended cocktails based on our tastes, and explained the stories and ingredients behind each drink with a passion that showed his deep knowledge and love for the craft.
Every cocktail Daniel made felt like a masterclass—carefully balanced, beautifully presented, and uniquely delicious. We tried several drinks throughout the evening, and each one was better than the last. The flavors were inventive and fresh, often incorporating unexpected ingredients that surprised and delighted our entire group. You could tell this wasn’t just a job for him; Daniel was clearly someone who took pride in his art and genuinely enjoyed sharing that with others.
Beyond the drinks, sitting at the bar allowed us to interact not only with Daniel but also with other guests and staff, giving the evening a lively, communal feel that elevated the whole experience. It felt intimate and exciting, like being part of something special—exactly the kind of atmosphere you hope for on a night out.
Throughout the night, Megan checked in on us as well, always with the same warm energy and big smile that kicked off our evening. She didn’t need to, but she made a point to make sure we were still having a great time. It’s those small, thoughtful touches that turn a good restaurant visit into a memorable one.
To put it simply, Otto’s High Dive nails every aspect of what a top-tier dining and drinking experience should be. The food was fantastic, the ambiance was relaxed yet refined, and the cocktails were next-level—but it was the people, especially Megan and Daniel, who turned our evening into something truly special.
If you're thinking about visiting, take Megan’s advice and sit at the bar. Let Daniel walk you through the menu and trust his recommendations—you won’t regret it. This place is a gem, and with staff like Megan and Daniel at the helm, it’s easy to see why Otto’s is quickly becoming a favorite for those who value not just great food and drink, but also genuine hospitality.
We’ll definitely be back. Five stars, no question.
Amazing restaurant food , service and atmosphere are one of the best in Orlando area. Bruno the GM is a great addition we drove over from Lake Nona to give Ottos a try and we will be regulars. The food and ingredients are top quality hand crafted meals.
4.5 rating! Overall, everything is very, very good. The biggest strength at Otto's are their drinks and there's such a good variety for anyone!
Service is also very consistent and the cadence/timing of when food/drinks arrives is perfect, very appreciated to not feel rushed.
My only reason for it not being perfect 5.0 stars is we decided recently to splurge on two of the $40+ entrees and they were relatively disappointing from the price perspective.
I wish we got their $25-30 entrees instead or stuck with just apps as those have been better, we had assumed the more expensive entrees would also be knock-outs. Lesson learned. Our total bill was close to $300 after tip from getting 4 drinks, 2 apps, and 2 entrees.
Words can’t describe how beautiful this establishment truly is!!! Honestly, if I had endless amounts of $$, I’d love my place to look just like Otto’s High Dive.
The bread plate and spreads were amazing. Hands down!!!! Hands down the VERY BEST FROZEN MOJITO I’VE EVER HAD!!!
I’m definitely coming back… that’s a solid promise. I’ve heard through the ? vine that their Brunch is EPIC!!
Kat, our server is fantastic and a delight to talk with. A new great spot, please stop in…. You’re a putz if you pass this place up.

Used to have a great high end bourbon & whiskey selection that has declined to nothing. Mixed drink menu is weak, very few rum centric drinks for a “rum bar”. Drink menu is reaching and avoids any semblance of a basic foundation, not sure that works.
Bartenders have turned over several times which makes me question management. Generally competent but they have lost the continuity and atmosphere.
Kitchen is the one constant here and it has delivered. Probably keeping this establishment afloat.
My review stands in stark contrast to the response from the restaurant. Just bc a drink has rum does not make it rum based, the service level has declined, the staff needs to read recipes to make drinks (which conflicts with a stable bar staff), and the depth of alcohol, especially wisky, is severely lacking compared to even six months ago when there were at least 4 whistle pig offerings compared to one now.
The difference is plain to see and unfortunate.

Wow! This place exceeded my expectations. The drink was excellent, I had the non alcoholic Cayo Coco. The Chicharrones was ok, not sure what I was expecting. Lobster Escabeche was just so good. The rum cake to finish off was amazing as well. All in all a very memorable meal and would like to go back.

Only got cocktails but they were really well made! There was no urgency to get them served and you out the door. Appreciated the outdoor cart to order cocktails from as we were only staying for one drink before dinner, so it was easy to order.

To me is kind of hard to stay seated for a long time in a restaurant, but this place didn't let me go.
The whole menu is an experience of flavors, is something that you can't stop ordering plates, Ben our server give us the best recomendations on the menu, Juan the GM came to us to tell us a lil bit more of the restaurant and Justin hands down!
Thank you for let us have a fun night in our 13th anniversary.

I’m just here to say that Jason, who manages the outdoor, airstream trailer bar, is a total babe and stellar bartender. He’s very warm, friendly and creative with his drinks and the environment/vibe he curates out there.
