The owner Christian has it Figured out when it comes to paring the perfect ingredients to make there pizza. The "green ranger" to the "stay classy" you really can't go wrong. You can even grab a drink next door where he will deliver to your table at the bar. It's pizza with class! If your downtown this is not just a maybe it's a "must do". Grabbed dinner here with some friends on Saturday and the pizza was awesome! Everything is very fresh and the pizzas are light and crispy. You can walk inside and walk into thirsty topher which is connected to grab beers and bring them back over to Perla’s. Great spot and can’t wait to come back!

Love this pizza! It's a super thin crispy crust with the perfect amount of toppings. One of the owners Chris was super nice and told me that you can also build your own pizzas, on Wednesday they start at $7. Great deal! I'm looking forward to coming back and building my own creation!

I'm not one to leave reviews, but I genuinely can't help it with this place. It's a small shop, but super cozy and well decorated! The staff was really kind, which is always a must for me. They brought water cups even though we didn't ask for it, and the manager even came over and made sure we were doing okay! Now for the pizza. I love a good thin, crispy crust, and they were above and beyond with taste. My husband and I couldn't even wait to take a picture because it all looked so good! The manager explained that the pineapple jam in the "Everybody hates pineapple" is actually made in house, like they get whole pineapples and break it down themselves..... as a person who worked in a pizza place for 3 years, I know that pizza shops usually go the cheap way, and making this jam is just a beautiful touch of homemade that is unreal in this industry. The bacon is actually smoked bacon, but it's not that thin, nasty bacon you get at any other shop, the manager said it's a slab that comes in and they cut it themselves, too! The Gabagoul (an amazing "The Office" reference btw) was loaded with meat and infused amazingly with pickled onion. The Part-Time Lover is the pinnacle of pizzas made for pesto lovers and non-pesto lovers! We can't wait to come back and experience the same level of customer service and delicious pizza that we experienced today!

I'm going to start with an unpopular opinion... I don't like pizza. I know, I know how dare I give a five star review to a pizza joint under these conditions - well I'm just that sure of myself and the product being out out by Perla's. When I say I don't like pizza I guess I should say that I just don't care for run of the mill tomato sauce and some mozzarella cheese on dough. If that's what you're after maybe Perlas isn't the spot for you. However if you are after a unique pizza experience with a fresh take on how to put ingredients together then Perlas is going to be your new favorite spot. I tried the part time lover - bacon, mushrooms, red onions, cheese and a house made green goddess dressing that I wanted to slater on everything in sight and eat it! The bright hint of lemon in that dressing drizzle just sent this pizza to the next level! My son tried the everybody hates pineapple which is pineapple jam, pickled jalapeño, slap bacon and cheese and the combination of the sweet and slightly spicy jalapeño was honestly like a party in your mouth! The pizzas are all made to order so they can take a bit but the staff was also super friendly and quite frankly perfection takes time. We will be back, often!

Delicious!! They were really busy (Friday night) and it still only took 20 or so mins to get the pizza. Ordered prince Zuko and it was amazing. Great texture! They also deliver the food next store to the Thirsty Topher which is a great added bonus.

This is a very spirited, complimentary 4-star review, because there's no doubt, Perla's is pizza worth eating. But exactly how far does that go? Let's take a look. Is it a restaurant? Let's go with... barely. It's more of a take-out spot. There are a handful of tables, and the drinks they serve are run-of-the-mill 20oz soda bottles (the convenience store kind). It's not really a dine-in joint. That said, they will deliver pizzas to you if are at a local brewery or bar within a few blocks. And they'll also text you when you're order's done. So that's convenient. Now let's talk pizza - because they're doing this pretty well. All of the pizzas are just a hair bigger than personal size. But one person could easily take a whole one down. The crust is all super thin and crispy, making it very, very good. The flavor of the crust is just OK, but that thin texture is amazing. The standard cheese pizza is also just OK, but their other offerings are really where Perla's shines. Whether it's their take on an Italian meat pizza, ham and pineapple, veggie, spicy banana, etc. - this is their wheelhouse and where they get positively creative. I even had a chicken tikka masala pizza special, and that was awesome. So, the pizza, IS GOOD, the recipes are creative and the crust is A+. But one more humbling factor is their output ability and time from order to pizza. It's pretty clear that they must have small or limited oven space because I've ordered here twice and both times took about 45 minutes for the pizza to appear. So be prepared for that. Just call ahead and do takeout. If you do that, you'll love it. If you go there and wait, well, let's just say I'd recommend heading two blocks over to GB's Bottle Shop and waiting it out with an excellent beer on-hand.

Great pizza place in the Ivanhoe area. The staff are very friendly and their menu options are great! Have to try the pickled onions as a topping! It's a plus that it's connected to the thirsty topher as you can get a drink.

After reading the reviews, I came by to try Perla's and ordered 3 different pizzas - Stay Classy, The Gabagool, and It's Bananas. They were creative twists for toppings, but I just didn't feel like they were anything to go crazy over. I'm not entirely sure how the bananas contributed to the pizza other than a topping gimmick. Perla's is not horrible, but it definitely is not in the upper tier of pizzas I've had. Perhaps I was let down with expectations that were skewed by the reviews I've read in my pursuit to find a good pie in Orlando...The pie sizes are slightly bigger than a personal size fyi.

My fellow Orlando pizza lovers ... you MUST try this place! My Fiancé and I stumbled upon this place recently just walking to our car. We first smelt a delicious scent in the air which led us directly to Perla's. We got the Stay Classy which is: Basil, Olive Oil Cheese: Low-moisture Mozz, Buffalo Mozzarella, Aged Pecorino Base, Red Sauce. It was an awesome basic staple pie, love at first bite! We also got Mr. Fun Guy! You have to try it for yourself. Highly recommend. 10 stars!

I thought it was delicious. I opted to try something new which is there Wolfgang pizza that has salmon and I pleasantly surprised. Also they had this apple pie (I think) white sangria OMG! The inside was comfortable and that's always a plus for me. You can definitely have a few drinks and enjoy some really good pizza l.

amazing pizza and great service

Amazing pizza!!! Small dining room, but delicious pizzas!! There is thought that goes into every ingredient and I love the result. Parking can also be an issue here. One pizza is enough to feed two people that are peckish or one hungry person!!

Solid not bad. Someone else noted that pizza was greasy, and I’ll second that. If you don’t like greasy pizza, you won’t be happy here. If you’re ok with it, as I am, than it’s not even a thing. The thin crust is a nice change from regular pizza.
