Chef Mercedes provided an in home cooking class for my family. Short review- she was amazing! Longer review- she was professional, punctual, knowledgeable and patient. We learned so much from her about seasoning, building flavors, choosing ingredients and of course how to prepare satisfying meals. Excellent food and experience! Was in Orlando for a birthday celebration and found Pattychow via a google search. We had the cajun pasta, broccoli, green beans, rolls and strawberry lemonade. The portions were very generous and the food was very tasty. Haley made the ordering experience easy and the day of delivery was seamless and professional. Everyone enjoyed what the options and there was enough for everyone to go back and get more of everything except what is specifically made as one for each person. My daughter turned “21” in September ‘21 and we planned a trip to Orlando to celebrate. Well, I wanted to hire a private chef to come to the Airbnb to prepare breakfast and dinner for our group. I was given a referral to Phattychow by my nail artist Dominique who had used her previously. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST REFERRAL I’VE RECEIVED!!! The communication was great with her assistant. They were very accommodating because the days I wanted were booked but she navigated some things and we were still able to get breakfast dropped off and dinner prepared at the house. I really appreciated how she was willing to cater to our need instead of saying she’s booked and that was that! The day of our dinner, our boat ride that we were on went over a little bit so we weren’t back in time to let them in to prepare dinner. However, it was a keypad with a lock so I gave her the code and she was able to go in to get started. When we got there and walked in it smelled like heaven but when we tasted the food it was DIVINE GLORY!! Everything was seasoned to perfection!! I’ve never had a lobster tail that tasted so good and we had one guest that has a seafood allergy so I was able to have two lobster tails so I was in “seafood heaven”!! If you live and/or vacation in the Orlando or surrounding areas and want a private chef….PHATTYCHOW is definitely the way to go!!!P. S. I forgot to mention the breakfast was just as good as the dinner she prepared!!! The home style potatoes were to die for!! Oh and the strawberry lemonade we had for dinner and they said the mimosas for breakfast were good too (I don’t drink) but I trust their judgement!!

Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing! I ordered a meal for drop off to our AirBnB back in June. The whole process was so easy and they were very responsive to emails. I found the service very affordable and a good value for what I spent. Food was great and would definitely order again. Everything was delivered early and we went ahead and ate since everything was delivered hot. I would definitely use again when I’m in the Orlando area.

Unfortunately the reviews mention 4-5 stars; however, not at all the experience had by myself and family during my cousins 35th birthday party turned engagement party. Our coordinator placed an order and was not provided what was paid for. RECEIPTS AND INVOICE TO PROVE. When the chef was contacted she was nonchalant , basically said make do with what was given and that she was too busy to bring back the full salad.Paid for a full salad only got one serving size of salad. She and her assistant are not on the same page at all. Left my cousin in tears! When contacted she still has yet to respond after saying what she was not going to do. To add further insult to injury her macaroni and cheese is literally noodles and cheese sauce ! Not even as good as velveeta. Baked beans there was more meat then beans. Appeared to be rushed and no love or patience taken with the meal although it was FULLY paid for. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HER.

My family and I were giving a surprise birthday brunch while visiting in orlando. I booked the brunch with Phatty Chow by text message and phone. She sent me a invoice for the $200 deposit and that was paid. Well I’m in town visiting Disney every day. I did not hear from her by text or phone call. I’m assuming I paid the remainder the day of event. Well to my surprise I called hours before the event just simply asking if she could bring trash bags only to let me know that my remaining balance wasn’t paid and my event was cancelled. There was no empathy or compensation basically told me to just read my contract. Contract is misleading saying that it needs to be paid a few days in advance but it must be paid by the day of event or cancellation so technically that won’t hold up in a court law. Phatty chow then says the remaining invoice was sent by email. Now the same way you booked my event should have been the same way you contact me regarding final payment. No friendly reminder call nor text saying I sent you a invoice for the final payment. She was hoping that she got away with not doing my service and receiving a free deposit. This was a lack of customer service. Any other business would have given you a courtesy call or text. Please be careful and cautious if you choose booking any type of event with this company.
