I got pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. It was extremely dry and tasteless. Thank goodness for bar b q sauce. Fried plantains were only redeeming thing.

All of the people that work here seem very cool and were very nice. Unfortunately the BBQ is some of my least favorite I have ever had. I paid almost $50 for a full rack of ribs. They were very poor BBQ ribs with very poor BBQ sauces (sweet and hot). Terrible teriyaki sauce. The brisket was very dry. The sausage is too fatty and soft. They serve teriyaki green beans here as a side and they just weren’t worth the $4. Just seemingly blanched green beans drizzled with some of the terriblyaki sauce. The $5 Mexican street corn lacked its toppings, only one side was dressed, the rest was a regular piece of corn. Baked beans were alright. Water was good.

The Big Floyd sandwich was not bad and I’m sure some of their other items may be great.

Canned BBQ spot. Out of all the good stuff and just average at best. Will scratch the itch but you won't write home to momma

This is an interesting review to write. Generally I enjoy the BBQ at Pig Floyd's the four times I've been however I think the kitchen is inconsistent. I've had food come out cold twice for several people at my table and the cook quality of the meat can vary.

My main issue and the reason for this review however is that on my previous visit I watched one of the male kitchen staff leave the kitchen and go the bathroom all while wearing his apron. He then went straight from the bathroom back to handling and plating food without washing his hands or changing aprons. It seems like he was one of the main cooks on the line so it's very concerning that such a simple hygiene concern would be overlooked by kitchen staff.

Food is good. It has a different swing from the traditional Barbecue. It is a fusion of Barbecue, Latin, and Oriental. Brisket and pork belly were good. Just needs more seasoning .

I recently visited Pig Floyd’s for the first time, and I’m so glad I discovered this gem! Their pulled pork, paired with their signature BBQ sauce, is absolutely incredible. The unique ambiance adds so much charm to the experience(I loved it)! The rice and beans were outstanding, and the Mexican corn and maduros were just as amazing. I’m thrilled to have found this place and can’t wait to return soon!

Foods great, if they have it. Somehow they are consistently out of some foods by like 7pm on a Wednesday. How does that even happen? You can go to any restaurant on Mills at this time and they'll still have food. Crazy.

Bullshit. Just because you're in a city doesn't mean you get to treat customers like ants. $1.50 for a to go box??? Seriously??? And 18% recommended gratuity for counter service and having to get your own refills?? No thanks.

I used to live in Orlando and frequented this place for how good it was, but tonight was a miss. Not sure if they changed the buns, but they were awful and most of the sandwich - barely any meat at all. Also got the banana pudding which was just cool whip and bananas, no pudding to be found. I was in town and requested to come here, only to be extremely let down. Also, the bathrooms were obliterated.

First off, I want to say that Pig Floyd's is normally a solid 4.5 Stars. However we decided to splurge for Thanksgiving and ordered their special "Holiday Catering".

From the very beginning it wasn't a great experience. We showed up on time for our pickup, waited 20 minutes in a line, then 25 more minutes to pick up our order. They clearly didn't do any sort of scheduling when allowing people to give a time for pickup.

On to the food itself. We ordered Baked Beans, Maduros, Mac & Cheese, Smoked Turkey, and an Apple Pie. The positives were that the baked beans were very good as were the maduros. The Mac & Cheese was fairly boring and standard, nothing special, just a ton of cheese and typical pasta that didn't seem fresh. The Turkey had good flavor but was fairly dry and overcooked. The Apple Pie, was... not very good, especially for $20. It came in a very obvious grocery store bought pie crust, that of course tasted like one and was dry as a bone. The apples were cooked fine but were more sweet than normally found in a pie. Overall the pie lacked any real flavor, had almost no topping (you could see most of the apples), and again, $20 for a store bought crust? Seriously?

Personally while I will likely go back, it definitely won't be for Thanksgiving or any other sort of catering. Disappointing as we were really looking forward to this meal.
