I placed an order for delivery and after an hour of waiting I called as it said it was still in the oven. One of the options on the phone was press 2 for status of my order, upon pressing the button the robot voice immediately says “We have received your order and it is being prepared. Thank you for choosing pizza hut” then hung up.

I then called back and spoke to a person where I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then told my options are cancel or hope it gets delivered eventually.

In other news my dominoes is almost here.

Really upset, the employees are not informed on cancellation and money returns. I ordered the pizza to this Pizza Hut when I meant to ordered it from another one. I called and asked if the money would come back right away if I canceled it or if it would take longer than a day. The employee in the phone told me the money would be refunded back immediately.
I call back 30 minutes later and a manager is telling me that it doesn’t process til the end of a business day and takes at least 24 hours. If I’d know I would’ve taken the L and driven out there for the pizza instead of canceling it to replace at another location because this was all I could afford for food for my loved ones today.
If you don’t educate your employees about cancellation of orders and how/when the money is transferred back, at least tell them not to make up something or grab a manager who knows. This has really torn up my day and now I’m left trying to feed people with no money to do so.

They now use DoorTrash for delivery. That means you can have several drivers constantly cancel the delivery when they see a tip or distance they don't like. For example, this pizza hut will deliver to Christmas, about 15 minutes east. A decent tip on a $25 order is $6. The DoorTrash drivers will select it, and then never pick it up and cancel it. Constantly handing it off while cooked food sits in Pizza Hut becoming "leftovers" as it waits. Watch your order status. You'll see the driver name change constantly. If you see this, call Pizza Hut and cancel and get a refund. Maybe Pizza Hut will get the hint. The poor employee I spoke with was just as frustrated with DoorTrash and Pizza Huts awful plan as I was.

Hour and a half delivery time by a doordash driver!!! When I order a pizza I expect it to be delivered by an employee of said Pizza company, not doordash.
Subpar customer service! Manager claims they couldn't even physically refund us our money. All they offered to do was remake it.
Food was left in front of the door that swings outward. So of course we crushed our food opening the door. And they didn't even notify us that they dropped it off at our door. If there was a way to do zero Stars, that's what they would get.

Some of the worst service I've ever had.
Ordered for delivery because the estimated time was under 35 minutes. I ordered online which was fine. About 20 minutes later I get a text saying that my order is on its way. About 10 minutes after that I get a text in Spanish - from the delivery driver who was actually in Uber eats driver saying that the store is leaked with my food and They will be there shortly. They were not. So I tried calling. I got stuck in an endless loop on their corporate offices. Apparently, the store's phones have been out for over a week and nobody bothered fixing them so there was no way to contact the store. Corporate said that my order was already completed so they couldn't cancel my order. Despite the fact that I had no food. They kept trying to call the store but we got stuck in an endless loop of call center hell. They also couldn't get a hold of the delivery driver. I tried contacting the delivery driver and kept getting messages that didn't make sense in Spanish, even with Google translate. At one point he told me he had gone home. So an hour and a half later I get a text message saying that my order was handed to me. It was not. It was in fact on the floor outside my door, a door which swings out. So it was super fun getting pizza. That was not only cold an hour and a half after I ordered it. But which now spilled all over because it was in front of the damn door and the only way to get it was to open the door. Also, considering the voyage it went on after leaving the store for an hour, who knows what they did to it.
While this haphazard delivery is happening, I'm at the store which is only 3 minutes away from my house. Three people walked past me. Looked at me and went along with their business. The manager in a plain pizza hut T-shirt, went about her business ignoring me talking to her employees before finally coming to say hello. They couldn't refund my money, they only offered to remake food, But at this point it had been an hour and a half after I ordered and I was not waiting. Then they also explained their phones don't work. I'm not sure how you can operate a store without having a functional phone to contact said store, but here we are. Their solution was for you to come back the next day.
Save your money and go somewhere that has decent food, better communication, and employees that have an ounce of customer service skills.

I worked for pizza hut for 3 years through high school. I have been a loyal customer for 30+ years. Now that they have outsourced the order and delivery process, it is a COMPLETE DISASTER. I ordered my food, the driver walks up to my door and sets my food on the ground next to his feet so he can call me.
I am not a germ-a-phobe but I have ring doorbell and it took me 45 seconds to open my door even though he NEVER rang my doorbell. I shouldn't open my door to see the driver standing next to my food on the ground! The order was wrong. I was calm and polite trying to be transferred to the location near me to fix the issue. I was hung up on 3 times and held for 11 minutes once and was disconnected. UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM PIZZA HUT AGAIN!!!!

Customer beware.....Ordered pizza at 8pm. Pizza was supposed to be delivered at 8:30pm. Called at 9pm. Was told there is no one to deliver order and nothing Pizza Hut could do. Order arrived cold at 9:35pm. Worst customer service as they would not do anything to make it right.

The doordash delivery concept isn't working. Doordash is one of the worst groups of people due to no buy in or culture at all. Now pizza hut gave up on trying and uses doordash. I have constant late deliveries where they have multiple stops, pick up new orders along the way and had one even do a u-turn to clearly go pick up something else. Tonight I had a driver show up to pizza hut to pick it up, decided he didn't want to do it and then another driver had to get it which added even more time. So I'm paying more money for lower quality food that sat there after cooking for over half an hour more. Get rid of door dash. Stop getting people who can't cut it at another job and do the easiest job possible with no accountability.

Waiting area was renovated. Staff is usually nice. I ordered and paid online and haven’t had issues with someone stealing my card no. The place is normally well kept and clean but employees need to wear gloves!

I placed my order on the Pizza Hut app at 8:30 p.m and it said I will receive my order at 9:08 p.m. At 9:05 p.m I receive a text from door dash saying that they picked up my order. My order was two orders of wings and three pizzas. The door dash guy only brings me the two orders of wings at 9:30 p.m. When I asked him where is the rest of the food? He tells me that’s the only thing they gave me. So I called the store and the store manager tells me that the DoorDash driver only speak Spanish, and she only speaks English. She gives him the wings and when she was gonna give him the rest of the food he had left already. She tells me she can’t do anything about it. The only thing she could do is wait until another door dash driver comes. I asked her OK. How long is it gonna take she doesn’t know it might take 45 minutes or It might take longer. After 2 hours that I placed this order your gonna tell me I have to wait more.After back-and-forth asking her how can she give me a refund or get a driver to deliver the rest of the food to us. She lost her cool and decided to hang up on me. Worst customer service, manager has no management skills. The correct thing for her to do was to get somebody from DoorDash to deliver the rest of the food, but that was too hard for her to figure out.
