You definitely have to try the pizza here!! Such a great pick-me-up!

A Culinary Masterpiece in the Heart of the Animal Kingdom!
Dining at Pizzafari was nothing short of a revelation — a true hidden gem tucked away in the wilds of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You might expect a quick-service pizza joint in a theme park to be forgettable, but Pizzafari absolutely shattered those expectations and delivered an experience that could rival a high-end trattoria in Rome.

Let’s begin with the pepperoni pizza — my choice for the evening. This wasn’t your average slice. The crust was impeccably crisp with a delicate char that spoke of artisanal stone baking. Each bite delivered a symphony of flavor: the pepperoni was bold and perfectly curled with just the right amount of crisp, and the cheese was luxuriously melted, creating a creamy contrast that balanced the spice of the meat beautifully. The sauce? A bright, herbaceous tomato blend that hinted at garlic, basil, and maybe even a touch of sun-drenched oregano.

My girlfriend, whose palate is famously refined (she once sent back crème brûlée in Paris for being too pedestrian), ordered the classic cheese pizza. She described it as “sublime in its simplicity.” The mozzarella was gooey, rich, and clearly high quality — it stretched with elegance on every bite. The ratio of sauce to cheese was spot-on, creating a harmony that even the most seasoned food critic would applaud.

The ambiance deserves its own standing ovation. The dining room was whimsical yet tasteful, with vibrant murals and lush jungle-inspired decor that made us feel like we were sipping Chianti in a rainforest villa. And let’s talk about service: fast, efficient, and genuinely warm. The cast members treated our lunch like a fine dining reservation.

If you think Pizzafari is just another theme park pit stop — think again. It’s a gourmet oasis where flavor reigns supreme, and every bite is a celebration. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just someone with a deep appreciation for a damn good slice, Pizzafari is a must. Bravo!

When it comes to the food, please avoid this place. There are genuinely better spots to eat than this place. If you have a picky eater, eat at Restaurantasaurus. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with ceased salad and my boyfriend ordered the chicken parm pasta with marinara sauce. We weren’t expecting the greatest food ever, but we were expecting something just okay. This was far from okay, it was one of the worst places on Disney property we have ever ate at. The pizza was greasy, the marinara sauce tasted like it was straight out of the can, and the meal itself was not very filling at all. Please avoid this place and do not eat here.

The experience was overall pleasant—nothing particularly standout, but the food was decent and reasonably priced. The interior has some cute murals that add a nice touch of personality, and it’s great to see vegan pizza on the menu, which is always appreciated.

looking for gluten-free pizza place that is actually strict about cross-contact is not an easy thing! but this little gem was great! staff was knowledgable about celiac, and our daughter's gluten pizza was amazing!

The food is average
The pizza is really bad
Salads are acceptable
The chicken parmigiana is not bad
The best garlic bread
Inside it is cool with the air conditioning but outside it is very pleasant (I went in November, in July it must be different)
Ordering with the app is very good
Expensive, like everything in the parks

Pretty good meals. I had the chicken parmesan gnocchi. It was good. I liked the garlic bread. It tasted like if Starbucks made garlic bread. The chicken parmesan was very cheesy. I enjoyed that.

Vegetarian options: They had a plant based Italian sausage meal and they had salads one had chicken but one didn't.

Kid-friendliness: They had about 6 different options for kids meals. They had pasta with turkey meat sauce macaroni and cheese pizzas and more. They included bug shaped graham crackers and a cuties mandarin.

If I could have rated it zero, I Would have.
Lets be clear, its only because we are in Disney that they allow themselves to serve this kind of disgusting food. Any restaurant which would have served that anywhere else would have gone bankrupt ????

This quick serve spot just isn't well themed compared to the others in the park, and the food quality is lacking too.

Pizza was pretty generic and nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere of the safari was very cool to eat around, and Disney always has great service

I have one pizza kid and one pasta kid, and I love that this place offers both. Most Disney pizza places only have pizza options, so we love coming here.

Kid-friendliness: Pizza, pasta with marinara

Look. I love Disney, and it's not often that I'm dissapointed while spending time at the parks. I understand this place is meant to be an easy, sit-down, however; be prepared for (possibly) the worst food on Disney property.

I ordered some pizzas along with a chicken parm dish with my family. I cannot overstate how bad the food was. Literally, frozen T.V dinner for kids quality, and disgustingly overpriced for what it was. Watery/nasty sauce, gummy-like dough, greasy and cheap cheese that fell right off, and the chicken parm was also awful. I suspect it was frozen and then literally microwaved. (It's what it tasted like, at least.) The pasta had no flavor and the texture of it led me to believe that it was previously frozen, and then reheated in a microwave. It was that bad. Little Ceasers is better, heck, even home frozen pizzas are a better option!!!

Also worth mentioning the atmosphere isn't pretty, either. Very loud and very cramped/crowded. (This really wouldn't be that big of an issue if the food was at least edible.) Again, I understand it's meant as an easy, sit down option for families on the move. The atmosphere doesn't need to be grand, it really isn't important - the food should at least be edible, though.

For the high-quality the brand carries, this place is truly an embarrasment. Avoid at all costs. Disney should figure out how to "fix" this place. Even allowing a standard 'Pizza Hutt' to take over the building and run the joint, serving a limited-food menu, would be 100x better than this.

I wrote this review because I love Disney, truly. It's because I care, and I hope to see Disney learn from it to be better in the future. Cast members were 5/5 and service was 5/5.

Vegetarian options: Seems to be a good amount of vegetarian/vegan options.
I didn't pay attention to this much, but if that's your thing, it could be up your alley!

Always love coming to Pizzafari. It’s a great quick service location at Animal Kingdom that serves very good quick service pizza which comes with a Caesar salad. And a nice quick alcoholic drink.
