Dined in for lunch and there was plenty of space. The food was average. The milanesa I ordered was too hard to chew.

A Spanish cafeteria style with hot food up front for quick meals or order. I got corvina empanada, encebollado, and seco de Chivo.
Corvina made me feel like I was back in Salinas driving la Ruta de sol stopping at a little hut by the beach to me it tasted like they make it there. The encebollado in my opinion had too much curry was not the same as Guayaquil but still really good with white rice and 2 limes. The seco de chivo was really good goat in tomatoe paste simmered down to a stew with yellow rice and fried plantain really good. All delicious food. Anyone that says there is no flavor has no taste buds.
Also had “quacker” which is an Ecuadorian oatmeal drink couldn’t taste the cinnamon but it was still really good.
Also tried the colada morada it was sweet and really good with cut up fruits inside.
Spent $62 total.
Had 3 people in front of me when i arrived and there was moderate foot traffic throughout the time I ate there.
There is a lot of space

The food is flavorful, but the portions are quite small for the price we paid. The place is clean; however, the staff is very rude and does not provide great assistance. Management should ensure that the crew has a positive attitude. Overall, it is a nice, charming place.

Pollo D’Oro is a great little Ecuadorian spot tucked away on Hoffner Ave. I had the guatita and really enjoyed it — flavorful, comforting, and done right. It’s just one of many delicious plates they offer. If you’re craving authentic Latin food, this place is definitely worth a visit.

It's a small establishment, the ventilation system is poor, very hot in there, the food was subpar,no real seasoning very bland. They speak very limited English, difficult to communicate. We wanted to experience what others said was good food. Once and done. And don't go to the bathrooms, not clean.

This place is so good!! Very authentic, delicious, and affordable!
Very delicious food!!! Nice atmosphere, very good service and the food is very fresh and tasteful… My favorite is the Encebollado, Caldo de Bola, Fried fish and the 3 leches dessert 🥰
Was in the area and figured trying out a local spot. It was really good, the chicken was really juicy, and the people working there were really kind. The Mofongo hit the spot. Don't sleep on the fried plantains. Definitely coming here again.
Good, but the chicken needs more flavor.
