I remember getting a grilled chicken breast sandwich a couple years ago, it was my go to with black beans and rice for a side. When they discontinued the grilled chicken sandwich, I didnt go back, wasnt interested in wraps or bowls. So when they advertised the return of the grilled chicken breast sandwich, I went back to get a sandwich combo to go. I was sorely disappointed.
1) First, the combo side was no longer black beans and rice, it was black beans OR rice! I had to pay an extra $3.49 for one and get the other with the combo. That made my combo deal $10.99 to $15 and change, which is a lot for a sandwich-side-and small drink. The rice was ok, much like I remembered, but the beans were awful, watered down, tasteless and devoid of any flavoring. I was offered sauces, and they gave me a decent amount of the curry ranch in little to go cups, but there were no hot sauces available, either from the counter or on the tables like before. The chicken sandwich came with lettuce and cilantro garlic aoli, which wasn't bad, but it didn't come with tomato, I'm not sure because of design or because they ran out. My only real complaint about the sandwich was that it only had a half a breast, about 4 ounces of chicken. If I bought the sandwich only, at $6.89, I would be more upset if the truncated sandwich was all I got.
2) The service was adequate, if not a little less than friendly. I don't expect groveling, but disdain seemed unnecessary. I didnt have to wait for my order, so I had that going for me.
3) The restaurant looked neat and clean. I was disappointed that the sauces were no longer available on a bar where I could get how much I wanted, instead I would have to stand in line and beg for one more 1 oz cup of sauce. There was no bottles of hot sauce at the tables, and like I mentioned, the black beans desperately needed some flavor. However, I didnt eat on premises, I took it to go. Made the experience more frustrating.

They did a very good job on all the food the sauces really make the food and the staff was extremely helpful. My wife showed me this place and I really enjoy it and we have come here about 4 or 5 times now in the past 3 months. Not exactly the cleanest inside but that's okay. The food makes up for it.

The food is pretty good but not without the cilantro garlic and hot sauce! Why do y’all always forget to put the sauce in!!! Just picked up an order to be sure we get the sauce and y’all still didn’t put the sauce in the bag! 🤦🏻♀️
Zero stars!!!!! They always miss items and then run out of meat for one of your meals and don’t even tell you! So your paid full price for rice and half of your order! Make it make sense

We always get the original family meal when we go. We go every week or 2. The staff knows our order when we walk in, and have always been friendly and welcoming. The food is always cooked well and we haven't had any issues. The restaurant is always clean.

I just ordered delivery from this location for two TropiChop Bowls, some sweet plantains, and a chicken Caesar wrap.
The presentation of the bowls wasn’t fantastic, but at least I can say they were made correctly and as ordered. Unfortunately, the plantains looked like I got a regular size, instead of the large, as it was only like halfway filled. And then the wrap was smaller than my hand; it felt like it should’ve been in a kid’s meal, and a huge waste of almost $10!
Overall, I’m just very disappointed in the quality of food that’s coming out. Everything just seemed extremely rushed and not much attention to detail. Like for example, it even says on my receipt, I was supposed to receive four barbecue sauces and only received three. Certainly not the end of the world, but a very easy thing that could’ve been done right the first time. My final issue was that they didn’t give me any napkins or cutlery to eat my food with. Rushed rushed rushed…
