Atmosphere is dope! Now when buying drinks here keep a tab the bartender kept changing prices on us. Bought a rum and coke first time $11 then about 30 min later back same drink charged $17 went back later same drink $14. Not sure what is going on here. Make sure to pay attention to bartender and what they charge you.
Cool vibes and very friendly staff
Last night I went to see some old school Orlando dj’s and it was amazing. The sound is great, staff is great, and DjRobbyClark played one of the best house sets I’ve heard in a long time!!!
It used to be an amazing bar when it was strictly vinyl records. The DJ’s really engaged everyone the energy was fun in the place. Now it’s mostly electronic DJ’s and they play the same generic stuff you will hear at a standard club honestly so now this bar is nothing special. The atmosphere and decoration of the pace is really nice tho.
Love this spot, amazing stop for a bar-hopping Saturday, very delicious drinks..
Always love it here! Great service, drinks, and the vibes are amazing.
Denied Restroom Access at Proper—Shameful Treatment of Paying Customers
Our group of 13 paid customers purchased drinks at Proper, only to be denied access to the restrooms because Advent Health had roped off a so-called “VIP” area—which included the only restrooms in the venue—during Immerse Orlando. This “VIP” section, guarded by two Advent Health representatives, was completely empty, yet they acted as gatekeepers, refusing restroom access to actual customers.
When we asked the bartender (who served us), she consulted the “manager”—who was also DJing, because that’s apparently how things run here—and he made it crystal clear: If you’re not part of VIP, you’re not using the restroom. Period.
So, a word of warning to anyone considering a visit to Downtown Orlando: At Proper, your money is good enough for their drinks, but not good enough for basic human decency. If a corporate sponsor throws some cash at them, they’ll happily shut off half their (empty) bar and deny paying guests the right to use the facilities.
Avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated like an afterthought in favor of deep-pocketed political players.
Ubered 20 mins and it was closed at 9pm on Wednesday when it says it's open
$27 for a Buffalo Trace old fashioned. $1.47 service charge, $3 for “cocktail stirred” and an automatic 15% tip - absolute highway robbery.
On top of that, I was there for an event and the DJ was so loud I had to shout during conversations with people right next to me. Tell that guy to read the room a little next time.
What a beautiful place! Great place to host parties or just for a few drinks while downtown. Very upscale lounge vibes.

Drinks 🔥
This place has potential but needs work. I bought 4 casamigo single shot drinks that cost $90, which is overly expensive. If you're going to charge heavy for drinks than EVERYTHING needs to be on point. The DJ was absolutely HORRIBLE, music sets the tone and atmosphere, their mixes were completely trash. The service was sub par, standing at the bar when it wasn't busy for 10 min while the bartenders talk amongst their selves, to than poor a single shot drink (which was not a full shot because I watched). First thing to fix is your DJ !
Great time during Timeless Bunch with Mc Serch
Visited this place for a birthday party, but didn't expect to spend $70 for 3 drinks. Charging a $2 shaking fee, on top of service charges on a bar tab is over the top, in my opinion. Nice atmosphere though.
What a stunning establishment. We walked up and were greeted by staff right away and received the best service. Big shoutout to Kai.
Highly recommend visiting this bar!
