Food is tasteless. All the workers drink while working and the owner is a racist. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you the same.

It’s Tex Mex. So if you’re expecting traditional Mexican tacos, this is not the place. The atmosphere is great. It’s a local sports bar kind of vibe with regulars around the bar. The focus seems to be more atmosphere than food. And don’t get me wrong, the food is ok. And I prefer a local bar kind of atmosphere. Service was very friendly and personable, food came out pretty fast.

The table salsa is horrible. The ‘hot’ salsa is amazing. If you combined these two things it’s great. The table salsa is diced tomatoes with cilantro. The tamales and any kind of ground beef is really bland and under seasoned. The queso is a yellow/Velveeta style. Which still tasted pretty good. But again, it’s Tex Mex. The ‘deep fried street corn’ is a cool idea. I don’t get it though. It’s still corn on the cob salted, and deep fried?

The only chicken we had was in the signature tacos and that was good. So I’d imagine the fajitas are decent.

The signature tacos are good. We did like those and the nachos are really decent. I would strongly suggest doing something with the shells. The soft shells feel like they just came out of bag. And the hard shells taste like they’ve been sitting out for awhile. Just crunchy enough to serve, but a tiny bit stale.

First time eating here. It was lit inside. People at the bar having a grand ol time. Love to see it. The service was awesome. The price was awesomer 🤭. I just wish the has sauce to put on the tacos. Other than that they were decent. Very filling.

I think an evening sitting at the bar, ordering margaritas could be fun..but make sure you eat before you go.

Experience:
Us: we’ll have a strawberry margarita and a Pacifico to drink, and the lunch special ground beef burrito and shredded beef chimichanga to eat.
Server: got it!

Server (5 minutes later): you all had a water and a diet coke, right?
Us: no, we ordered a strawberry margarita and a Pacifico
Server: got it!

Bartender (5 more minutes later): do y’all need to order drinks?
Us: no, the server took our order
Bartender: *looks over at the server confused*
5 more minutes later: *drinks arrive* this was the highlight of the meal.

Server: alright, here is the burrito you two ordered to share
Us: no, we also had a chimichanga
Server: got it!
(Few moments later)
Server: here is your chimichanga. I know it looks like a burrito, but that’s the chimichanga.
(I ordered a shredded beef chimichanga, I received a ground beef burrito.)

Without asking if we wanted another round of drinks (we had planned to stay for the full football game), the server gave us our check. So, we paid up and left.

By the time we got the bill and realized we were charged for the regular burrito, not the lunch special burritos, we were just ready to pay and leave. Overall, the one margarita I had was great, but I’d hesitate to eat here again.
