Service was just as good as the food. I came through this spot a couple months ago with my friend and we've been dreaming about the ribs ever since. I almost forgot I didn't leave a review cause the food was so good it still feels like it was yesterday.

I was looking for a soulfood/BBQ in the East side of Orlando and they came up in the search. It's a quaint location tucked inside of a strip mall. When I was greeted with friendly smiles and service. First off...never go to a restaurant hungry after a day of errands. I ordered ribs/chicken combo, wings, fried orka, lima beans and key lime cake. The food is REAL good and everything is homemade (cakes made by the owner's mother). The only thing for me was that the orka and beans had a little too much salt for my liking. Overall the food was really good. The staff are super friendly and I'll be back to try more items on the menu. I'm glad there's some restaurant diversity coming to the East side of Orlando.

Excellent food, broad selection, I had outstanding service by Christina. She is a very professional server. Very enjoyable.

Tried this spot for the first time today. Got a half rack of ribs with smiley bbq sauce and max n cheese to go. I love a few miles away and it was all gone before I even got home. The ribs were cooked perfectly and the bbq sauce wasn't over spiced it just had some kick. A spoilt delicious and will 100% be going back. Thank yo I guys for a great bbq experience.

Real smoked and seasoned BBQ with a fantastic house sauce. Everything was great but the yams, beans, brisket, and sauce were exceptional. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The store itself was pretty small and casual and I appreciated the seating to eat-in instead of being takeout only.

Food quality is very low, sushi rolls all taste and look the same, Each person is allowed to order two rolls at the same time, the rolls came disappointingly small and cut so thin, Servers tend to keep you waiting between the orders Over all disappointing experience with a high price

Very small out of the way place. Was greeted when I arrived and ordered the ribs. Was hoping they had a 2- meat combo since I wanted to try their brisket but the only combo was chicken and ribs. The ribs were very good and tasty.

Let me preface this by saying I went in 9 minutes to closing and I am VERY PICKY. Okay, so boom. I go into Smokey Jays based on the reviews. Everyone says food is good so, I decided to try it out. The workers ( and I think the owner) were very friendly. 3 ribs will run you $14. I understand this is a small business so, I paid the price. Is your want to add on to sides, it's going to run you an extra $5. At the end of the day, I spent $19 for my meal. I couldn't place my finger on the flavor of the Mac and cheese but I didn't really get a lot of cheese, more so breadcrumbs and possibly chicken bouillon? The beans were pretty tasty but it did kind of remind me of pork and beans. My ribs were very, very tough. This was very disheartening given the price. Again, I came in almost at closing so I'm not going to hold it against the establishment. I would try them out again to see if I had a different experience

Not bad for an AYCE late night dinner for $24.99. We came here at 9pm on a Monday and this place was busy. This includes the salad bar and side menu like steamed egg, fried rice, japchae, tofu. There are items for $5 or $6 additional like ramen and wings. Our table kept getting the beef brisket. It’s thin and quick to grill. Loved that they allowed us to split 3 credit cards for our table.

Great staff and even better bbq. I had the turkey sandwich and it was perfect. Thick slabs of smoked turkey that was moist and full of flavor. I'll be back!

Love Smokey Jay's - The pound cake is the best I have ever had. Great service! If you love BBQ you must try the Rib Plate!

Just not good people. Twice Ive been snubbed by them. First time, I asked for food to be packed to go, lady declined. Just before me, she gladly packed to go containers for a different customer. Today, Im thinking maybe things have changed...nope. She takes other customers whom are not standing in line properly...while folks like me patiently stand to order and get skipped over. When I finally get to order, all of a sudden most items are not available. I dont want to use the skin color card but your mileage may vary. Be cautious...either she is racists or just doesnt care.

My worst experience in all FloRida all you can eat: After more than 30’ minutes of line my expectations was higher than bad quality meat and smoke. When you arrive at the restaurant you can smell the bbq from outside. The quality of the food is not good even if you pay for the expensive all you can eat menu. The sushi is really not recommended, we tried different type of roll and no one was good. The Korean bbq, the quality of the meat is not good, more over my shirt needs to be thrown in the washer because of the smoke. The tip is mandatory (18% gratuity fee) even if the service is slow.
