The best fish tacos I've had in my life !!!!

This place was an amazing gem to find without even looking for it. Came for a Saturday afternoon brunch, got seated promptly, service was great, drinks were great, but the food was out of this world. We had the excellent elote, tamal, and brunch fundido, but the pan de uchepos was a particular star. Even the chips and salsa were spicy, smoky, sweet, and elevated. I will make a point to come here any time I visit Orlando.Vegetarian options: Several brunch options were vegetarian, and several others had clearly labeled options to make them vegetarian (e.g. mushrooms instead of chorizo in brunch tortillas)Wheelchair accessibility: The spacious patio seating has direct at-grade access to the sidewalk. We ate outside, so I can't comment on the interior.

Very green and earthy vibes. We tried a few new items. I didn’t like most of it but loved my tacos!

I'm a frugal person, so I'm usually very hesitant to go to a restaurant with high prices like this one. But it was all worth what we paid for. The chile relleno I had was the best I've ever had and it was quite filling. The salsa roja was great and the chips tasted like they were homemade. The churros tasted freshly made. However, I think they put too much sugar on them. Fortunately, you can get a lot of it off by tapping it on a plate. I can't remember the name of the drink I had but it was also delicious. The inside the restaurant was very nice and well kept. I would gladly come here again. In fact, I plan on coming here again at some point to try their lunch menu.

The meal was delicious, however i do have some notes on the fish tacos. If you want to have a build your own experience, then it should be easy. The fish tacos were not really fish tacos, but rather a giant piece of fried fish with tortillas on the side. It didn’t feel like tacos at all and i felt like i had to work too hard to eat it. To make it a better experience, the fish should have been cut and fried into smaller pieces and the greens should have been easier to access rather than underneath the fish. Either that or just build the tacos in the kitchen before bringing the dish out. Most people don’t want to work that hard for their food at a restaurant. Especially at those prices.

My wife and I love Mexican food but we love authentic Mexican food. I am from California and my wife is from New York. I had chicken and she had the seafood dish and neither one was close to being good food and far from authentic.

First time going to Reyes Mezcaleria. Ambiance: There are plenty of seating options: outdoor covered patio with plants, indoor high tops, booths and bar seats. The lighting was just right. Service: Very friendly staff. They were accommodating to hold the table till our group arrived, while we grabbed drinks at the bar. Food/Drinks: As a vegetarian, it was great to see they have 8 veggie options for side dishes/apps. The Chile Rellemo entree was amazing - presentation, taste, flavor, and it was filling! The Elote app was seasoned really well and it was sized for sharing, all of this paired really well with the Mezcal Margarita (w/ spice rim). Definitely recommend checking them out!

It's National Margarita Day, so it's only fitting that I update my review of one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and favorite places in general in Orlando! Yes, the margs are great -- simple ingredients, straight to the point and I love to add a spicy rim. I also credit them for first introducing me to mezcal. I'll admit, it took some time for me to warm up to this smoky spirit, but now I love it. You have to try the flight with a side of the chipotle chupalines (grasshoppers) at least once! This is my go-to spot to take out-of-towners because not only is it aesthetically stunning (as all of the Good Salt restaurants are thanks to Sue Chin's impeccable interior design), but Chef Wendy is an absolute magician in the kitchen and her passion for Mexican cuisine is unmatched... she does not miss. I've loved literally every dish I've ever had a Reyes. If you've never attended one of the chef's dinners, En la Mesa with Wendy, you need to add that to your Orlando bucket list asap! Most recently, I went for their weekend brunch (11am-3:30pm) and dang was it so good! They have some exclusive dishes & menu items that you can only get during brunch like their amazing fluffy conchas (shoutout to Chef Denise) and the pan de uchepos which is amazing spicy corn soufle skillet. I also always have to get their signature tres leches French toast... it's truly the best French toast in town. I like a savory dish as well, so my husband and I split it along with the camarones yucatecos (Argentine red shrimp & grits) which was fantastic. They also have excellent brunch cocktails and mocktails for the preggo ladies like me. Whether it's brunch, lunch, or dinner -- I'm always a happy gal a Reyes!

I would give Reyes’ atmosphere a 10 if I could! Seriously one of the most beautiful places to eat, especially downtown. Everything I have ever ordered here has been unique and delicious. For instance, I ordered fish tacos and received a large fried fish fillet, along with other taco toppings on my plate and the tortillas on the side. I’ve never had fish tacos presented in this way but I really enjoyed it! I’ve brought multiple friends and family to Reyes, and every time they are so happy with the over all experience!Parking: The parking garage is attached to the back of Reyes. Some places provide a parking voucher but I’m not sure if Reyes does because I forgot to ask.Kid-friendliness: Had kid menu and high chairs
