KUDOS to the Volunteer Staff of Ian Dixon Adam Harris for allowing our Wounded Warrior Project Group to Volunteer. The service and teamwork are priceless! We sorted meat for our shift and had lots of fun! Our services requested are being strong and fit to finish the task. The value of knowing there are hungry families out there brings a good feeling! I highly recommend all to come and visit to donate time and their resources!

Tremendous organization doing a lot of good in our community - plus they're a great spot to volunteer at! Definitely recommend signing up for a donation sorting shift or helping out where you can - you get to work with a fun, energetic group and it's very rewarding. On my last shift we sorted 13k pounds of food which is roughly 11k meals!

We had heard of Second Harvest from our son as he has lived in Orlando for many years, we recently moved to the Lake Nona area and in our community we have a volunteer group, coming to Second harvest shows me how many wonderful people we have in the world willing to donate snd to give hours each week to help the needy. We have packed boxes, sorted meats, sorted cans... always a great feeling. Everyone should volunteer and hear the numbers of those in desperate need of food.Today I was moved to see there about 20 school students in their uniforms helping out. Great job!
This is a huge warehouse facility located in an industrial neighborhood. Volunteering here was a good experience. Lots of friendly, enthusiastic families, individuals, and employees of corporations participating. The building is clean, in excellent condition. Staff clearly explains what is needed. We had fun while helping the community.

is there a possibility of someone coming to pick up some things because I don't have a vehicle. only a bike, or where is the closest place near Robert st. in New Smyrna Beach to bring them to?

I had a fun time volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank. It has a meticulous organization and dedication to the central Florida community. The team's cohesion creates a positive atmosphere, making it an exceptional place to contribute to a meaningful cause.
Nice staff. Great place to volunteer.
