italian food, yummy. this place is absolutely outstanding. i've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back. the bill won't shock you.
italian food and the setting here is great. Visited on Fri I believe.
Decided to try this place this weekend, Food quality could be better, definitely over priced for what you get. Parking was a nightmare, had to use valet and they were just rude and unprofessional. Will not return or recommend this place.
This establishment is owned by the chef and their spouse and what a place it is. Very welcoming staff and excellent menu. Parking can be a bit tough and you can not park before opening hours. I personally met the owner and being by myself at the time sat at the bar area. I was well looked after had pleasant conversations with other guests and delectable food. There’s a fantastic outdoor area during nice weather and the inside has been well throughout for both small and large groups. I would highly recommend ordering the mussels in the white lemon sauce. Terrific!
The Italian cuisine is first rate. The kitchen knows what it is doing. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and competent but need help with grooming big time. Great Caesar salad - maybe the best in Orlando. Pastas are delicious and plentiful. Desserts are over the top. Indoor/outdoor layout is OK but nothing special.
We have been big fans of Se7en Bites for years and having heard about the new restaurant being opened, we were excited. Finally we had the opportunity to go and what better occasion than our anniversary. It beat out a few of our other favorites when we made a final choice. We made reservations and arrived promptly at ^;30 and were seated immediately. We were at first a little disappointed as we were seated outside, which we did not anticipate, and it was getting to be a cool evening. I asked my wife if she wanted to ask/wait for an open table inside but she declined. It would be fine. We were quickly attended to by our waitress and we asked for a few moments as we had just been seated. Within a reasonable time, the server returned and tok our wine orders and our apetizer order. We had decided on the Bread Board and will not order that in the future;not because it wasn't good, but because it was too much for two people. We felt bad that there were so many almonds and olives left over. The garlic confit and creamed olive oil were delightful accompaniments to the bread and olives. We were left to enjoy our appetizer and the server again seemed to know exactly when to return to take our dinner order - excellent pacing throughout the meal. We both ordered the Ciucina salad with my wife ordering the Eggplant Parmegiana and me the Armatriciana Pacheri. The salads came quickly and were a mountainous mass of freshness and filled with lightness. The size of the salads were such as not finishable (is that a word?) for fear of filling up before the entree arrived. All the while we received several approaches by the staff of servers inquiring as to any needs. The entrees arrived and the portions were huge...let me repeat...huge. My dinner was filled with cheesy (with a bit of a bite) goodness, with and delights almost hidden in the sauce with the perfect al dente giganti rigatoni. The sauce was slightly sweet (unlike my wife's spicy sauce) but was definitely reminiscent some of the wonderful Italian restaurants we experienced in our former home in New Jersey. My wife totally enjoyed her Eggplant which was crispy and chewy. I am not a big fan of Eggplant due to a texture thing but I did have an initial taste while deciding to take a few more bites as dinner went on. I may be a convert. I had wondered why everyone I saw leaving had takeout bags and as the meal progressed, I realized the portions were too ginormous to finish. Fully satisfied with our meal we took the leftovers home. A great experience, this was one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in Florida. The service was beyond excellent and I liked the personal touch of Trina walking about and talking to the guests without being obtrusive. Not only did she walk around, she pitched in and bussed the tables. Hands-on; gotta love it. I really hope the restaurant succeeds (not necessarily out of altruism but more for my own personal self-interest LOL). While the food is great and service superior, I only wish they could relocate to a different area. Parking is a nightmare; so much so that the restaurant has valet parking and believe me it is needed. We were lucky to find a parking space nearby. The restaurant seems a bit small and I think that is why their are so many outside tables. I can only imagine the problems with inclement weather and loss of table revenue. Additionally, while there is a nice outside view of the lake, this section of Ivanhoe is notoriously dark, out of the way and I think the bars down the road are not conducive to a fine establishment such as this. There is no foot traffic so this is a destination restaurant; you have to have specific plans to go here. But since the good far outweighs all else, we will be making this a regular destination.
Best Lasagna in town. We actually got take out this time. The lasagna is amazing. Generous portions. I’ve been looking forward to my leftovers each day after. Don’t miss this restaurant.
SETTE is amazing! Go check it out, you won’t be disappointed! Best lasagna I’ve ever had! Trina the owner was so sweet and made sure we had the best Valentine dinner ever!
Great food and service. Can’t wait to go back
My wife and I have been wining and dining around Orlando and NYC for the last 6 years together. Our first meal at Sette 2 months ago was truly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. We had such a pleasure meeting the owner and hearing about her and her partners passion. We are extremely excited to be going back for Valentines day tonight!!!

Delicious impeccable food in a comfortable and super friendly, but still elegant setting. Just as awesome as you might imagine the food to be! Worth every penny! The cocktail I had was also a revelation.
What an incredible time my wife and our sons fiance had tonight. We surprised our son as he was working at Sette. He and is fiance are expecting their first child (Our first grandchild). They are having a baby shower for his fiance, so we drove down from Charlotte to surprise him. I think we got the biggest surprise with our meal. Food was fabulous, server was phenomenal (Thanks Danielle, you were awesome) and the rest of the Sette family was great. We had Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan and I had a fish that was encrusted with pistachios. There were scallops, asparagus and a tomato relish with parmesan risotto. Folks my wife and I will be married 29 years in August. We believe we had the best meal of our lives tonight. I am not saying that lightly. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a meal that will surely satisfy your tastebuds. Trina thank you for such great service and again we thank you and Chef for the way you treat our son. Chef sorry we didn't get a chance to meet you, hopefully on our next trip down. You and your staff are true artist in the culinary world. We will return when the baby is born!
This place has amazing food and the staff is awesome! Super attentive and friendly. The owner is such a charismatic person, love her! You won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!
Food itself is pretty good, except the meatballs which are normally my wife's favorite..not here. Loud and cramped. Big issue is that there was a mosquito or fruit fly in my glass of water..when I brought it up with my server, who is also the manager her solution was a free glass of water and the excuse that we are in Florida and theres bugs...I have never even had a bug in my food at a McDonalds let alone a good Italian restaurant. She stubbornly insisted the only thing she could do was get me a fresh glass of water..would not come back based on her attitude alone.
We have been to the restaurant in the past - we had talked about the restaurant with some friends and they wanted to try it. We made reservations online and the manager called in the afternoon to confirm everything. We arrive at 7 - and we were told since we did not request indoors - we had to sit outside. (64 degrees) I asked to speak with the manager - and she had no interest in talking with us. Even more disturbing - their hostess was a little to smirky to be the first contact with their diners.
