Cute place on the smaller side, but fun fact it turns into almost a nightclub vibe in the afternoon. We went for happy hour, and the prices are really good and the roles are big and they’re lychee martini is also very nice.

Stumbled on this while walking around Downtown with a friend for a weekend getaway. Service was great and it wasn’t too loud that you can’t have a conversation. We got several $5 and $7 sushi’s and they were all good and fresh. Will definitely go back.

What a wonderful experience! The food is outstanding. I had the biggest glass of bubbles ever for a great price. The sushi was so delicious and fresh. The prices were really good, service was great and the atmosphere was chilled with nice electronic music in the back ground.

Was a very quiet Monday night, but the food was outstanding, the staff very friendly even when we lingered past closing time. Would definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed the drinks and sushi here. This place is like a hidden gem. I will definitely be back. The quality of the sushi here is very good.

I've always loved the decor and vibe here. Sadly, the quality of this restaurant has gone downhill. I ordered hot green tea and they brought it to me in a plastic water cup.... they said they don't have glass teacups anymore. What??

Mediocre service. Yes, no waiting for a table. However, once seated we waited more than 10 min before anyone came out to take our order.....it was good Sushi...the hot garlic edamame is great

Came here for a random lit lunch dt, our server Brian was AWESOME! Sat there and answered all our questions (even tho the menu was right there haha) and provided recommendations according to our specific taste. Drinks were quick to come and quicker to go! Delicious, we tried a bunch of sushi’s and the New York Roll and the ones with chicken were so so good! Especially if ur not a raw sushi person. Seriously this was a great idea coming here!

Randomly stumbled upon this place while walking by looking for a place to tee up at—and man… Shakai was GROOVING on the Friday—when I tell you everybody was dancing screaming lyrics i was having a ball🚀 Definitely locked it down on my list of places for the weekend

Top quality sushi, rolls, nigiri, and appetizers that surprises most visiting Orlando. It was unsuspecting but top notch.

Outside of the DJ being amazing and my girls having fun with the music this place truly has upset my stomach for the whole week. I went Sunday for a birthday gathering around 2:30pm and I ordered the shrimp tempura and couldn't finish it because something tasted off with the food. A girlfriend of mine orders a mimosa and made claims that there were flies in her orange juice. They didn't have any knifes for some of my friends to eat their steak and whoever cooked the steak didn't do a great job so we just sent it back. I don't want to point fingers directly but I truly don't know what else it can be. After the lounge I have been having an upset stomach and have been vomiting all that day and the following day leading me to call out of work. It is now 5 days since attending the lounge and my stomach is still not back to normal and am having troubles having steady stool. I'm extremely disappointed this restaurant seemed like such a great time on paper, and the music was great, but it truly has been an awful experience for me.

Absolutely delicious and the nicest staff. The sweet potato roll is nice and crisp, and the Japanese garden roll is fresh and delightful. I have no idea what vegetables are in it (avocado and cucumber, I figured out, but the other ones, no idea), but it's delicious. The price really isn't all that bad, considering it's made fresh and the quality is wonderful.

I am a long term downtown Orlando employee that has eaten at every place imaginable in the past 18 years. Shakai has always been on top of my list. I ordered a Bagel roll and a spicy tuna roll today for lunch. It was awful. You could taste how bad both the fish were, which leads me to believe it's clearly an inhouse issue, as opposed to a bad cut of fish. I am very disappointed and will not be returning here again. I ended up putting my sushi in the garbage and eating my edamame alone. I picked up my lunch, but I swear I could already smell the bad fish walking back. I just thought I was imagining it.
