Shang Hai Restaurant

Finally, I found New york style Chinese, and they have the bbq sauce. I still have to try the ribs. Nonetheless, the sauce is there. They have lunch specials Monday-Sunday till 3 pm, just like NY. There is a worker there, not sure if she is an owner or not. She told me they are from Canal St. in Manhattan. I highly recommend giving them a try. It's very well worth it. Bonus they offer fried green plantains.

We own an Airbnb near this restaurant, and every time we visit for inspections, we make it a priority to order from Shanghai.

Though the establishment is small, the service is exceptional. The staff, particularly the guy at the front, is always welcoming and accommodating. Most importantly, the food is consistently outstanding—we have yet to experience anything less than excellence.

A sign on the glass before entering proudly proclaims, "Best Chinese food in Florida," and it truly lives up to the claim.

I highly recommend this restaurant.

Eating at Shang Hai is like a ritual for me during my work breaks. The food is always delicious and fresh and the customer service has been amazing and personal since day 1, I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone passing by or local you’ll regret not eating food from here!

Ordered from here after hearing all the positive reviews. Food was excellent. Nicely seasoned and delicious. Small place with only a couple of tables so more suitable for takeout. Would not hesitate to go again.

When I called the lady wanted to get off the phone and just kept saying come in, so my family said find a different place she was rude.

I read the reviews and looked at the pictures, the food looked good and decent reviews so I still went.

I was on vacation by seaworld and drove here, I ended up spending over $100 and the food was excellent.

After the lady realized I was placing a nice size order she was super super nice and inviting.

I definitely would recommend, everything was good rice, chicken wings, rice noodles, crab Rangoon, general Tao’s chicken and egg rolls

I've noticed that most all food places start out with much flavor to their meals. Then they die down within a couple months. This place I been coming for more than 10 years, when I used to live in winter run area on conroy and still to this year 2024 now living near Kissimmee, I still come back. The food is fresh and delicioufulness of flavor in my tastes buds. You will make it your favorite too. Yummiliciouful 😋❤️
