Stayed in April with my wife, son, and my mother. The rooms are worn out. You get what you pay for though. I have stayed here before no complaints I know what to expect. I hear they are doing a remodel or refresh of the rooms, new everything. The Mickey pool was great. My problem is 3 days in a row my 2 year old son was awaken at 2:45pm by housekeeping banging on the door. When I answered the first time I ask what do you need. Man said nothing. After the second time I went to the front desk, the man there seemed confused said to put the do not disturb on the door. I did that. 3rd day same thing. Knocking on the door. Same thing. Housekeeping bothering us. When I checked out the front desk agent said oh we do "random" room checks everyday nowin the afternoon. You can schedule them around that time if you are sleeping. Great thanks for telling me when I check out. Dont inform me when I check in. Also 2:45pm 3 days in a row is not too "random" either. Nobody seems to care they ruined 3 days of having a tired 2 year at the theme parks. No compassion or at least fake sympathy. Just charge my card get me out the door. You ruined my vacation thanks. It was not magical at all. I probably will not be returning to the theme parks for 5 or 10 years because of this. If I do I will not be staying at a Disney resort.

We stayed at this Disney property for 3 days in May. Nice hotel, good for kids and excellent transportation to all the parks. Rooms could use updating, little musty odor with comfortable beds. There is a McDonald’s right outside the entrance to make breakfast a little cheaper since food in the Disney hotels is expensive. The hotel has 2 nice size pools for the family to enjoy. There are better, nicer and more modern hotels inside Disney but they come with a larger price. So if you want to spend less per night , have the Disney experience “ very friendly staff”, and use there free transportation then this is a good option.

There are some very good things going for this place. The decor and theme are fantastic. It looks like a fun hotel. The swimming pool and other minor attractions the resort offers were nice. I also loved the shuttle service from the hotel to the parks, which saved a lot of hassle for myself and my wife. However, the rooms are somewhat small. Take away all the Disney trappings and it's not much different from a Super 8 motel. For us, we knew we'd be in the parks all day and just use the room for sleep and convenience, so it served it's purpose just fine for us without breaking the bank.

Just got home from a 4 day stay. I had read the reviews before going - my advice is for you to disregard the negative ones. We have stayed at several Disney resorts over the years and this one was great! Great staff, great pool, no food lines and on and on..... Yes, the rooms are smaller but who goes to WDW to sit in their hotel room? Really. No hesitation recommending this resort. We are Dad, Mom, 7 yo and 5 yo.

There was so much about all star movies to love, from the awesome shampoo/toiletries to the wonderful disney and pixar theming to the mickey waffles to the free and convenient transportation. We stayed here during the star wars race weekend, and after a full day of running and enjoying the parks, the comfy bed and quiet atmosphere was just what was needed. There was a bunch of neat extras, like the mailbox for my postcard or the bag drop/concierge service. Didn't get a chance to try the pool (which looked great) or the bar with cinema themed drinks (which looked delicious) so we'll have to be back next time. Bottom line, this resort is clean, comfortable, and totally disney!
