Ribs - 10/10
Amazing flavor and cooked perfectly. Kissing my fingers into the air like a French chef. Boom!

Brisket- 7/10
Meat was tender with a smoky flavor. There was just something about it that threw me off. I didn't like the cubed cut style.

Collards - 9/10
Perfectly cooked FRESH collards. A little under seasoned, but your mouth can only handle so many dynamics. So, it is pallet cleansing to include these on your plate.

Mac n Cheese - 8/10
Fab southern flare with this dish. Creamy and a perfect side. 😍

Baked Beans - 7/10
Another southern fav.

BBQ Sauce - 10/10
If they sold it in bottles I would have taken a dozen. THE best BBQ sause I've had in a long long time. Sweet and tangy.

When visiting from the UK we saw a recommendation for this place on tiktok. Absolutely did not disappoint! We had to go back for a second visit!
The food is nothing short of delicious, very welcoming place , friendly and fabulous service. 100% recommend!

Omgosh!!!! I have been doing a happy dance for every bite. I had a taste for GOOD soul food/bbq and this totally hit the spot! Ribs are meaty, greens were good and not overly seasoned. Mac and cheese was good as well. Pound cake was okay. Not too sweet, nice flavor, but it was a little dry. Nice portions and reasonably price. The gentleman who took my order provided great customer service. Overall, I enjoyed my food. I'll definitely be going again.

As long as I've been getting my hair done in the same plaza, I had never gone in this BBQ place until today. And it was delicious! The meat was tender and juicy, the sides reminded me of some real southern cooking that I don't get very often, and the owners were amazing. Very sweet, accommodating to everyone that was there and just gave that overall southern hospitality that I grew up with. I absolutely love little eateries like this, so thank you, Natina and her hubby, for such a good BBQ experience. I'll definitely be returning and keep the sauce! The mustard sauce definitely made me think of my grandma's recipe. 🤩😋

Im from broward and I was passing and decided lets see what they got after looking at their 4.9 stars. The owner was super welcoming so that was a good start. Prices are super reasonable and was surprised with a lot of food. I had the ribs and they were tender and very flavorful . Will definitely recommend.

Have you ever wanted to go and/or be invited to the cookout but your invitation got lost in the mail? Well, say no more. Smokey Jay’s is your chance to get a taste and preview of what to expect. You have to bring your own line dancing music, dominoes and card but the food is DELICIOUS! The staff felt like we are related. What’s good cousins!?!?

I had the brisket. Nice marble brisket with lots of flavor. And, I’m a big fan of the Carolina style bbq sauce. I had a side of mac and cheese and baked beans. Last but not least, my nickname should be cornbread because I love it, so I had to get a piece. My dad didn’t want to get his own and was trying to eat off of mine. The BBQ man himself brought an extra piece to the table.

I can’t tell you about how much was spent because my dad blessed me for my birthday. He didn’t complain about paying for 3 individuals, so I know it was reasonable. We came in right before the lunch crew came. Business started booming around lunch time. Many blue collar workers like to dine at this spot for lunch. If you know then you know!

My only issue is that everything on the menu is not available everyday of the week. 😮‍💨 I will be back and that’s a fact Jack! 🫡

I forgot to mention. Buddy wakes up everybody in the neighborhood at the crack of dawn with grill and smoker. FYI

My son and I came here for the first time, and I must say that this is literally the best BBQ joint in Orlando. I was trying to decide between the ribs and the brisket, so I got the brisket. When we got our meals, both my son and I got one rib each. The best rib ever! The brisket came as a sandwich with a mustard BBQ sauce and there was so much, I ate it as a meal. The baked beans....NO WORDS BUT FANTASTIC! There is a hint of cinnamon or all spice in them so they would be perfect for a Halloween party or Thanksgiving.

This is obviously a family-owned business and that's amazing, but it's not the cleanest place. There needs to be more attention to the cleanliness of the place. I don't think I would want to eat in again, but I would definitely do take out. Maybe Saturdays at around 4:30pm is not a busy time.

Awesome place! Got rained out of sea world looking for a place to eat and boy did we find one of the best! Haven't had BBQ that good since leaving Texas! Great people
