Went to dinner at Soco tonight quite by accident. We ordered 4 small plates. Each one was better than the next. Food was outstanding as was the service. Highly recommend it.

This is a must when visiting Orlando. Lobster dish was good, but missing that added touch that every other dish had... we tried several items...chix and dumplings dish was fav!! Fresh fish was excellent and prepared just right! Drinks also rocked!!

Lovely chic restaurant. The food was immaculate. We ordered the lamb shank, scallops, mashed potatoes with lobster, Brussels sprouts and they were all delicious. Highly recommended. Will visit again.

I have never written a negative review but after much consideration I need to do so. We went to Soco the other weekend to try their brunch menu. I ordered 2 eggs, potatoes, and bacon the side for my husband. I do not eat meat and this plate comes with meat- hence the meat on a separate plate. When I received my food the bacon was on top of the eggs so my husband asked them to remake it. I told them to take the bacon and put on his plate so it did not go to waste but they said "no problem we want to remake your food for you" so I waited and to my surprise the food came back fairly quickly. Now, once I looked at my plate I told my husband that they just removed the bacon and moved the plate around and he told me I was lying lol. Then I went to cut into my egg and as you can see the bacon was underneath the eggs. We then sent it back of course and I didn't order anything else after this disaster. We then were told that the kitchen stated we possibly "planted" the bacon under the egg! How incredibly stupid to say something like this to us and for this reason we will never go back to this place. Just be aware, if you send anything back due to the kitchen's mistake... this is what you are dealing with.

The food was really tremendous. The steak was seasoned well and tender. The fried okra was the best I have ever had. The creamed collard greens were excellent and the kale salad with roasted squash was good.

Great food. But get the price of the special fr your server. $100 for a steak seemed excessive

The strawberry danish was the LIGHTEST danish I have ever had. Every dish was really delicious!! Service was fantastic. We were there for brunch and anxious to try dinner now soon! Will return and absolutely recommend to others.

We almost fainted with the first bite of the “chicken and dumplings”! Lobster filled ravioli like dumplings, topped with cremini mushrooms, bits of chicken, and a sauce that was so perfectly balanced with ginger, sesame, butter, white wine....then elegantly topped with greens. Just beyond amazing. And then..... The steak was absolutely out of this world. Melt in your mouth and make you sigh.....SO GOOD!

We celebrated my nephew’s 21st Birthday here. It was beautiful night, so we got to enjoy the outside dining area. Our server Mylan was the best. He helped with suggestions on the cocktail, wine, and dinner menus. So efficient and fun. The bartender is great at crafting delicious cocktails and someone put time into the wine list to make it interesting and food-friendly. We shared some small plates: incredible dumplings with chicken, lobster, edamame, and mushrooms; shrimp hushpuppies complimented by a tasty pepper jelly and a beef tartare that was perfectly prepared and served. My nephew and I shared the scallops enhanced by cauliflower puree and roasted tomatoes, as well as the pecan crusted black snapper over a flavorful rice and sauce – both dishes were cooked perfectly. Our Aunt had the best fried chicken we have tasted in Orlando, with a creative slaw. We also shared tasty Brussel sprouts that were balanced with a bourbon glaze. One of my nephew’s favorite desserts – banana pudding – was on the menu and is his favorite version yet. We also shared the key lime cheesecake, which was a fun twist and so satisfying. All the staff contributed to our delightful night out; partly because they really enjoy their jobs. Everyone pitches in to assist each other and to make an incredible dining experience. All who brought food to our table, including Andrew the manager, were enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We cannot wait to come back and try brunch!Parking: There is a paid parking garage right beside the restaurant

A wonderful experience all around from the food to the warm hospitality. Chef Greg Richie surely has a gem in the heart of Thornton Park and definitely packs in his passion for great food and hospitality into his Southern Contemporary cuisine.

Once again we had a very enjoyable experience at Soco from start to finish. The place was alive with many people having a great time. Like us, it seemed most had plans for a show following dinner. The food was delicious and the service very attentive and friendly.
