I’ve been a regular at this Sonny’s location, but after today’s experience, I will not be coming back.
Despite the restaurant being nearly empty — only three customers inside — the service was extremely slow. Our waitress showed no urgency and lacked basic courtesy. I ordered the corn dip and asked for a chip refill, and instead of informing me up front about an additional $2.50 charge, she brought the chips to the table then told me there was a charge. That’s not just unprofessional — it feels intentionally misleading.
This kind of service reflects poorly on management. It creates a frustrating, unwelcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like your business isn’t valued. If this is what Sonny’s considers acceptable service, then someone at the corporate level needs to step in and raise the bar.
Very disappointed and frustrated. I’ll be telling my friends, family, and social media followers to avoid this location altogether.
