Kevin took our order and flexed over to the bar to help later in our visit. He was a fantastic partner, coaching in the moment and helping the partners on the bar alleviate the rush. It seemed like they were understaffed, could have used 1 or 2 extra partners on the floor. Kevin was carrying the play, 10/10.

I guess I'll give it three stars, but the three stars is NOT for management.
Edit as I'm typing this: Two stars so maybe they'll read the review.
Let me start off by saying that I come in here a lot. I work in the mall, so stopping over at the hotel on my lunch break to go to Starbucks just makes sense.
However, I figured I'd write a review just of some stuff I've noticed on my last few visits.
First of all, I wanted to thank Nico and Nayomi. Those two always make my drinks the best, and are fairly quick even during times it's just one of them at the register! I wish I had more coworkers with their work ethic honestly haha
Second of all, the speed of service is never super slow when I go, despite my lunch break always being at a busier time.
Thirdly, I've never had a drink made wrong. Up until the other day, at least.
The woman who made my drink was Ember (got her name from another employee in the hotel), and boy was I annoyed; She said she would remake it, but I had to head back to clock in and couldn't wait unfortunately.
On top of that, I've gone in a couple times since then to see Ember completely ignoring what's being said by her coworkers. I'm the type of person who believes a team only functions well when EVERYONE is being a team, so to see the (from what I gather) newer/more inexperienced employee doing whatever she wants (and doing stuff wrong, nonetheless)... It's definitely not something I would want in an employee at all.
Anyways, I could go on about some issues with a couple of the baristas, but all in all, it's management's fault.
There have been several times, like I said up a bit, where there has only been one barista working up front to make drinks. To me, this says that they're understaffed.
However, it's no surprise to me that they are understaffed, given how I've WITNESSED (as in, how I've directly seen when I come into the store) how the managers treat the baristas.
Crazy concept, but maybe yelling at your baristas telling them they're slow when it's busy and there's only one of them making drinks (instead of...you know...HELPING your team by making some drinks as well) isn't the best course of action if you want to KEEP team members.
Granted, the yelling is only when a manager decides to grace their team with their presence, which isn't too often. But not being there for your team while expecting them to be there for you is ALSO a problem.
For example, the day Ember made my drink wrong, I had actually done something I don't usually do an ASKED for a manager. She didn't even hear me the first time, so I asked again and she told me "oh Carol is busy. I'll just remake it for you."
Overall just... Management needs to get their head in the game and make sure their team is being a team WITHOUT screaming at them! And, especially in Ember's case, training is necessary. Lady acted like she'd never had a job before.

I have been to dozens of Starbucks and never paid for water. They wanted me to pay $3 for tap water . I hope the franchise director for this area reads this review

Really bad custumer service the lady Zaida the cashier was terrible, vey rude super unfriendly treated my wife really bad in front of customers. My wife is a loyal customer of Starbucks. It got to the point were she don’t want to take our order. She should not be in the position.
Sometimes music in the store I usually go is too loud!
