This has to be the absolute worst managed Steak n Shake that is around. Went through the drive through at 7:20 and it took 30min to get a 3 piece chicken tender meal. I was told to drive up and someone would walk it out. That someone did after 6 other cars behind me received their food. I noticed the fries were small. I asked could I get a regular size fry or another small one to make up for the size. I explained that I had waited a long time, 6 other cars behind me got their orders. He told me I needed to speak with the manager. She approached me asking, what is it you need? I explained to her and she said I could purchase another fry she wasn't giving me anything. What was my problem, she gave me fresh chicken that I ordered. She then proceeded to throw my fries in the trash and had the other worker give me another one but it was the SAME size. I let her know I needed a bigger one but she couldn't hear me because she was talking on her cellphone to someone bad mouthing me. In the end I got the regular size fry because the teller told the other associate to just give me the bigger fry. I CAN NOT believe this person is who they have managing their restaurant. I don't think I've ever experienced that level of unprofessionalism.

The Steak 'n Shake in Pine Hills on 50 is by far better than the one in Clermont on 50! Always fresh... bread, hamburger, sweet tea is mixed well and good.

My entire order was incorrect although the ticket outside the bag says all the correct things I ordered the contents of the inside of bag were NOTHING THAT I HAD ORDERED I called the store back and the manager was rude and hung up on me ... she couldn't have cared less - they got my. Money I will NEVER eat at this location again !!!

I don’t write reviews typically, but the incompetence from some of the workers in the drive-thru I see regularly is upsetting me, and this location needs to know about it.
Just today around 2:30pm, I went to this Steak N Shake to order a cheeseburger with no pickle and a milkshake. After repeating this several times to the older lady who typically hosts there, (I think her name is Jean), she still gets it wrong anyway even after I’ve paid. I received a burger missing everything on it, and the bun was even crusty and breaking apart. She also forgot the milkshake I ordered too, and I had to ask another worker since she forgot it. I received no apology, and their demeanor was just very rude. The customer service is just fairly shocking here. Many of these people have attitudes, and it’s just plain unprofessional.
I know Steak N Shake is reading this, and I’m asking you guys to please clean house and manage your staff better.

I have been to the Pinehills Orlando,Florida location on numerous occasions as my niece lives a few streets down from it. I have wanted to write review for awhile& kept forgetting. I have been to so many hamburger places in many states& countries. I can sincerely say this location is EXCEPTIONAL IN EVERY WAY. Not a new trendy brand,not as popular as used to be,not in the best town. Yet, inspite of all these deterants it has Amazing Customer Service,Quality of food is always fresh& made exactly the way you ordered, Appearance of building very clean& well maintaned,Prices in this economy are still very affordable for all that you get so A GREAT DEAL! KUDOS TO OWNER& AMAZING STAFF!! Plz visit this Pinehills location.
