I ordered the French onion soup to start and that was pretty good. My husband and son both ordered steaks, they had no seasoning, no salt, nothing. Pretty flavorless. I ordered the chicken dish and it was okay, chicken was a very small portion and the potatoes and vegetables that went with it were unseasoned as well. Some of the carrots were way overcooked while some were basically not cooked at all. Only ranch dressing for salads. Our service was okay. Overall for the price, it’s not worth it.

Service was polite and attentive. The food was very good. The atmosphere was meh. The dining room was generic and had little character. A nice place to dine but lacked the ambience that I would expect from a nice steakhouse or from Disney.

Very disappointed. Steakhouse 71 used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but changes in the quality of the food are disappointing. First off, the vanilla bean and chocolate crème brûlée, which was one of the best desserts ever was taken off the menu, replaced by an overly sweet caramel popcorn flavored thing they are calling a crème brûlée. It’s nothing like the perfection of the crème brûlée the restaurant had on the menu for so long, only took 2 bites; very disappointing.
Second, I used to love the prime rib here, but the last time we came it was so fatty I could barely eat it. Of course a prime rib should have some fat on it but not like this. It honestly looked like a completely different cut of meat, it was at least half fat, maybe more. They used to serve the most beautiful prime rib, with only fat on the right spots to keep it moist and flavorful, which was easy to cut off, not with fat throughout the entire piece of meat. Disappointing.
Finally, they change their macaroni and cheese recipe from a cheesy, creamy decadent delicious recipe to some dry noodles that are lightly coated with the tiniest bit of sauce with a hint of cheese and a ton of breadcrumbs, no longer a cheesy and creamy, delicious side dish. Nothing in comparison to the macaroni and cheese recipe that was so wonderful the first 5 or so years of this restaurant being open.
I will say, the brioche bread and wedge salad starters were delicious still, the only redeeming part of the meal for us.
Sadly, whoever the new chef is has changed all the things on the menu we most loved. The restaurant has gone from our favorite on Disney property to just another middle of the road, mediocre steakhouse. It’s okay, but not a place we will go out of our way to visit and celebrate special occasions anymore like we have in years past, unless they bring back the beloved recipes that made us fall in love with the restaurant to begin with.

The quality of breakfast has gone down so much here they're giving you stuff that realistically you should only cost you $8 given what it is and they're charging you $20+ for it. You can do so much better for the same price at so many restaurants on Disney property. Lunch and dinner still great.

A steakhouse without a bread service is a non starter for me. Also its too bright and noisy and resembles seating for a buffet.

My partner and I were excited for our first visit to Steakhouse 71, but it may also be our last. The moment we told our server we were using the Disney Dining Plan, she rolled her eyes right in front of us. From there, her attitude didn’t improve—no smile, no eye contact, and a monotone tone throughout the entire meal. It honestly felt like we were an inconvenience more than guests.
The food wasn’t enough to save the experience either. My steak was cooked unevenly, with parts rare and other parts closer to medium, which is not what you expect from a Disney restaurant.
My partner considered speaking with a manager, but decided not to in case she was simply having a bad night. We did eventually get her to lighten up a bit at the end, but the overall experience had already fallen flat.
We still left a $21 tip. And just for context—we normally tip 20–22% even when using the dining plan.
This was our first visit to Steakhouse 71… and possibly our only.

Sever is awesome guys felt comfortable emidiatly with him (Teddy) fantastic attitude! Just what you expect from Disney employees. My wedge salad was delicious and pretty on a plate. I'm not fancy person but this is the perfect fancy for us. Prime rib was so tender cooked perfectly so was the wife's filet the Mac and cheese was on point and I really enjoyed the house horseradish. The atmosphere is perfect for a nightly steak house but could be less open don't know if it matters with how quickly our food came yet with enough time to enjoy read through the Karen's great night out that we don't get much Big Thanks to Teddy for his super service!!!!!!

This is my FAVORITE place in all of Disney World to eat. I have been to Disney many times, and this is the ONLY place I visit every single time I am in town.
Breakfast is my favorite meal to enjoy here before taking the short walk over to Magic Kingdom. It is the absolute BEST start to a Disney day! Highly recommend the steak and eggs on the breakfast menu. For a lighter option I am also a fan of the avacado toast.
Lunch it is the stack burger all the way. They also do fantastic cocktails and wedge salad.
You cannot go wrong with Steakhouse 71!
