It's OK I guess, I am Lao and I'm used to eat the authentic Lao food. Portion size, so small for the price, that's one thing I disliked. All the food is good but not authentic. I've ate at Savanh of Laos and it's the only Lao restaurant close to authentic. Portions are big and you get for you money.

Favorite spot for lunch in orlando.Parking: Park in the back
My recent dining experience at Sticky Rice was absolutely delightful. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, which immediately made me feel at ease. The menu featured a mouthwatering array of traditional Thai dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

This was my first time going. My boyfriend recommended this place. The guy taking our order was just weird. I asked him what would he suggest and his response was, "good question" then just stared at me. I was waiting for a comedic finish of some kind because that was just awkward. Whatever, the food was good. The dinning room has cafeteria-like seating.

Must check out Sticky Rice when you're in Orlando.
If you want to eat something different… Asian food and really delicious, this is the place. The food is excellent… 100% recommended. The curry is delicious, the bao sandwiches are a must try and the chicken wings are divine!!!?Unfortunately I was very hungry and got distracted eating so I forgot to take photos.I loved it
I love Laotian food and this spot didn't disappoint. My husband and I shared:- Pork Belly Laab Rice Bowl- Kapoon Nam Gai- Crispy Rice Lettuce Wraps- Pork Tapioca Dumplings- Sweet Purple Rice with MangoIt was a great meal. The crispy rice and tapioca dumplings were my favorite thing. I also loved the mango sticky rice, which strangely had pineapple (not mango as advertised), but it was still delicious. We ordered takeout and I'm sure dining in is even better.

My group of friends and I were visiting from out of town to Orlando and were lookin into having a great experience at an Asian restaurant. Me being Filipino, I can appreciate great detail into creating authentic cultural food and I can say for sure that “Sticky Rice” truly captured that essence. It seems to be a family owned and operated restaurant that truly invests in their culture. The food came out quickly, the staff was polite, and the flavors were immaculate. 5 out of 5 for service, food, music, and overall dining experience!!
**My Candid Review of Sticky Rice: A Lao Culinary Adventure**As a repeat visitor to **Sticky Rice**, I arrived with both anticipation and a discerning palate. Having explored their menu on multiple occasions, my expectations were set. Here's my unfiltered take:1. **Khao Piek Sen (Chicken Rice Noodle Soup)**:- The noodles— They were **soft**, bordering on **overcooked**. I craved that perfect al dente texture, but alas, it eluded me. The broth, too, lacked the robustness I associate with this comforting dish. A sip left me yearning for more depth.2. **Kapoon Nam Gai (Chicken Coconut Noodle Soup)**:- The minced chicken—dry and lifeless. Overcooking had robbed it of its succulence. The coconut broth, while promising, didn't quite deliver the flavor punch I sought. I longed for that balance of richness and tang.3. **Mocha Meatball** (or the absence thereof):- Ah, the elusive meatball! It had graced our previous visits, but this time, it vanished from the menu. Its name, **crossed out**, whispered tales of past delights. I wondered if it would ever return.4. **Menu Changes**:- The menu seems to have undergone a **shortening**. Perhaps this explains the disappearance of our beloved meatball. While change is inevitable, I hope it leads to culinary revelations rather than omissions. In summary, my fourth encounter with **Sticky Rice** left me torn. The promise of authenticity lingered, yet execution wavered. Perhaps it's time for the kitchen to recalibrate—to find that delicate balance between tradition and innovation. As fellow food explorers, we seek both comfort and surprise. May the next chapter at **Sticky Rice** bring revelations and rekindle old favorites. ??---*?️
