We hadn’t been since pre-COVID and change of ownership but happy to report it’s still pretty good AYCE sushi.Order off menu, rolls are decent sized, nigiri and sashimi is a bit small (but hey just order more?). Quality was as expected for AYCE, the rice in our first order was a bit dry so rolls fell apart but second order seemed to be a fresher batch of rice.Service is good. Place is clean. Extensive Chinese menu for non-sushi folk (though they probably won’t let you do AYCE if not everyone at the table does).

Recently, during the month of December 2023, I had ordered chicken and rice soup. It was the worst chicken and rice soup that I had ever tasted. As a military retiree, and have traveled all over the world this soup just didn’t meet my standard of deliciousness. The rice was mushy and soggy. The chicken tasted old. The “crunchies”that, they give you for soup was completely stale! After a couple of days from recovering from an illness, and as a regular customer, I returned the soup in hopes that the restaurant would give me a chicken noodle soup in place of the chicken and rice soup. In my previous experiences, I would order their chicken noodle soup or just the broth to help to advance my wellness and make me feel better. This particular time, I decided to try a different soup. So, when I bought the chicken and rice soup back to the restaurant to swap for the chicken noodle soup, I even offered to pay the difference between the soups. The lady that worked at the front desk had a very nasty and unprofessional attitude with me which became out of control and unnecessary! I ask for her name and she hesitated before swiftly uttering her name to me knowing that I could not pronounce her name much less spell her name. I asked for the manager and of course there was no manager available. I asked for the name of her manager and she stated, “Sunny.” Of course she did not give me any more information like when will the manager be available? All of this over a bowl of soup? Are you kidding me? Due to the wicked treatment I received for a bowl of soup, I will not patronize this business ever again! I will pass on to my military family and friends this horrific, unforgettable racist experience that I endured once again from this establishment and from the same older lady that works at the register and places your order(s).Never Again.G.

My first time coming here. The customer service is above and beyond. The food was great. Something that really caught my attention was seeing the teamwork here. One man jumped in and helped when the other was busy. It’s just nice to see people working hard together. This place earned my business and I will definitely be back again.

Have ordered food from Summer Palace twice and it's been very tasty. Nice vegetable options. My new go-to place for Chinese.
First post in 2017 -Togo is fast and portions are great for 2-3 mealsUpdate 6+ years later (11/2023)Family and I still order from here frequently. The quality seems to still be there but the pickup times are outrageously incorrect lately. Please update to be atleast somewhat accurate.Today I ordered at 624pm, confirmation states to pick up at 648pm. Based on my last few visits they have been late, I show up at 7pm, and still wait another ~15 minutes(713 to be exact). Thats not reasonable to me. I don't mind waiting 5 minutes but when it's consistently 15 to 30 minutes later then the time you state that is not acceptable and should be an easy fix in your automated system that states pickup time. I will happily fix my review and rating once this is remedied.

Summer palace is the best Chinese restaurant in ORLANDO, ive been to many Chinese restaurants in the area, and none of them come even close, they're soup, fried rice is Absolutely to die for!, they're custom service is Above and Beyond they are very polite and attentative, hey make you feel like family and it's very homey, it's Big enough space to have a family meal, The Parking is Great plenty of space!, I would give them 10 stars if I could!, you should definitely look no further for Chinese food! Lunch prices were Great ..but the Food was Bland from the Wonton soup to the Fried rice, I had the Pork egg Foo young was no taste and the gravy was like water .. and they put cabbage underneath the omelets was weird ,my husband ordered the pork with Chinese vegetables looked good ,but Fried rice was very bland also .. was very clean and neat inside Atmosphere was inviting . But I'm guessing more of a Sushi place . The Chinese food needs help in the flavor department ,but was a good price so no complaints about that. But most likely won't be going back ..
