Food is good but the wait system is BS. Don’t expect for them to help you with a reservation or give you a time of when you can get a table. Honestly it is not really worth the wait system they have so plan on going somewhere else.

Too Americanized. Portions are not proportionate to price. Everything tasted as should. Opens at 1700hrs.
One time visit, not a must see, unless you haven't been to Japan.

We had dinner at this place, and horrible diarrhea when we got home. The bbq meat and hot miso ramen are not fresh.

The place is quite crowded during dinner hours, and there is a constant wait. However, the food is delicious, and the Izakaya-style interior is impressive.

It was extremely bad. It was the worst Japanese food I've ever had. The sea urchin rice was very expensive and very bitter. The staff told me it was normal, but the sea urchins I had eaten before were always very fresh and sweet. The ramen was very salty and the squid was burnt.

You should changed the closed time to 10:30 pm on Mondays!!! Not 11:00 pm. That’s unfair for people took 20 minutes to come over here. Such a bad experience.
Im ngl the food was mid. The chicken tasted like basic Tyson frozen chicken tenders, and the fries were just basic fries with some sauce on it. Was it bad… no! Just normal Walmart tasting food. I don’t understand the hype. Fairly priced tho. Wait isn’t worth it.

Food is mediocre, skewers are burnt and bitter. No service at all, so I tipped 10% and got charged 18% for tip, which I’ve never experienced in my entire life before. Have to admit such a shady move.

Beautiful interior with a welcoming atmosphere. Although we were initially quoted a 30-minute wait, we were seated in just 10 minutes.
The food was delicious, making this a great spot for family and friends to enjoy a sit-down meal. Parking is plentiful and easily accessible.
We ordered the skirt steak, tenderloin, and pork belly. The meat was tender and juicy, though slightly chewy. The chicken skin had a light, crisp texture. The negima was buttery and juicy, and we especially enjoyed the tsukune—it was light and paired perfectly with the garlic mayo.
The Susuru Chashu Gohan was another highlight. The pork belly was tender yet slightly chewy, with its rich fat coating the mouth. The rice, infused with sweet aged soy, complemented the pork belly beautifully. The Shiso Butter Yaki Onigiri was also delicious and paired well with the skewers.
The drink we ordered was yummy with a slight kick—just strong enough to be enjoyable.
Service was excellent—our server was attentive and very kind, adding to the overall great experience. One minor drawback was that the chairs felt slightly uncomfortable for larger patrons.
While we’ve had better skewers elsewhere, we still recommend this spot. Definitely a must-try!

I was really looking into eating at this restaurant. My girlfriend has gluten allergy and we called ahead to ask if they have gluten free options, and they said they do. When we drove there and came in, unfortunately most of the options contained gluten or soy (which contains gluten). Can’t speak of the food quality but experience was not great

If you are expecting an amazing performance, she will probably disappoint you. The overall performance is lackluster and the food is average. The skewers were not hot even when they reached the table. The beef tongue was very delicious and tender. The short rib was too hard to bite. The ramen was average to above average. I gave a few takoyaki as a treat.
The overall feeling is just OK.
If you're expecting something truly impressive, she might disappoint you. Overall, the performance lacked highlights, and the food was just average. The skewers weren't even hot when they arrived at the table. The beef tongue was delicious and tender, but the short rib was too tough to chew. The ramen was slightly above average, and they served a few complimentary takoyaki.

Came here as we stayed in the area during a Disney trip. I was surprised to find so many Asian restaurants in this small plaza. Susuru is an izakaya with typical izakaya fare.
We ordered the tori paitan ramen and the mi so hot ramen. Both ramen were just ok. They did not have much depth of flavour and were very salty. I was interested in the corn as I had never seen that used as a ramen topping previously.
We also got some small bites. We got the miso eggplant, momo yakitori, tsukune yakitori and a hiyayakko tofu. All of these fell a little short. They were too pricy and the quality was just so so. It didn't really have much of a distinct taste.
The atmosphere of this izakaya is quite nice and it was nice to see such a lively place in an unassuming plaza.
