Found this little gem and I’m so happy we did! Maria served us and was so sweet and helpful as it was our first time there. The food was delicious and homemade which made it so much better! Authentic home cooking! This is a must try! Coming back to try lunch next!

A few notes if you go;

Decor is a little dated with old stained padded seats and tables that rock a little bit.

You have to speak up to get refills.

Food is very basic, pancakes are just average hotcakes, bacon a little burnt but still good, home fries were probably my favorite.

In an area starved for mom and pop restaurants this probably qualifies for a hidden little gem. If you’re used to an abundance...

I really want to like this place. We love a good, no-frills breakfast spot, and Sweet Mama’s checks that box on paper. We stopped coming in 2022 due to consistently poor service, but after three years, we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, the experience was even more disappointing this time.

Despite moderate occupancy and what appeared to be adequate staffing, service was slow and inefficient, likely a training or management issue more than understaffing....
