We had dinner here and out they were just finishing up with a rush. We waited 3 minutes to be seated. 17 minutes for our first visit from the server. Despite 3 other seated tables in the restaurant one of which was a group of 10. Service throughout the entire experience was pretty bad. Our food took about 10 minutes and it tasted good but had more bones in it than lamb (which was a $3 up charge) after about 20 minutes we had to flag someone else down to get more water and had to ask for the check which did show up expeditiously. In summary despite them finishing up the rush in the beginning there was no attempt at recovery and I wouldn't go back. I try to be fair when writing reviews and look at the whole picture and I can't find a win for this experience.
I've been here many times in the past, this was the 1st time I've been so disappointed with the food and service. It took long for the waiter to get to us and then the food was disappointing. I ordered the same thing I always do but it was flavorless. I won't be going back.
Food was great! Atmosphere great! Wait staff not so much. Restaurant wasn't busy but it seemed like the wait staff was all over the place. Took a while to get drinks, boxes and check. Loved the food thought. Would go again. Just hope the wait staff can get better.
The food was ok but service was terrible. My husband had to get up and look for the waiter twice when dining. The staff was too busy talking amongst themselves rather than checking on their customers.
Food was great. Service was friendly, but relatively slow and inconsistently attentive. Overall pleasant experience. Will certainly dine here again.
Tried Tabla 3 times. Good food, reasonably priced and nicely portioned. There is always somewhat of a language barrier. While I appreciate cultural differences, when ordering or asking questions, it's frustrating having servers who are not quite familiar with English. I understand it's an ethnic restaurant, but every time we've been there, it's always a little awkward to ask questions in English.
Butter chicken was tough, seemed like premade chicken reheated, the mango tiramisus tasked like artificial flavor on cream, steer clear of it. malai lifts and nan we more good.
The food was fantastic. Well-seasoned and met your expectations. Service was quite slow even thou there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. The uber, door dash people were walking up and down the restaurant and was very distracting.
Awesome food, very tasty and unique. Kids and us both enjoyed eating here. Bengali Sweets were a hit too.

So I was scrolling through my pictures and happen to pass by pictures of this place and it’s disappointing! I used to come to this place at least twice a month…. But every time I ordered to go they messed up my order… Last time I ordered all three plates was barely season… All three times I called to see if they was going to make it right and there way of making things right is for you to buy another order and then they will make the way it should’ve been in the first place 😡 and for this reason they lost a loyal customer that always recommended people to come here! Will never do that again! So yes they lost with me because best advertisement is word of mouth! I’ll post two pictures one of how it is supposed to be and another of the non season chicken just color! I got robbed but not anymore! They haven’t seen me in months and won’t be seeing me until they make things right!

They DO NOT respect food allergies
I told them we have severe nut allergies and they said no problem.
Minutes after eating the mint chutney I had a severe reaction.
We called to tell them what had happened, and asked to be refunded as this occurred two days in a row. Last time we were able to take a pill and did not need to use an epipen thankfully. Today resulted in severe vomiting and as such epipen was required to be administered.
they decided to tell us to bring the food back to be tested by their in-house nut allergy person.... No refund and they will call us back.
What the hell is wrong with these people?
If you have any severe allergies do not trust this restaurant.
They obviously have zero care about your health and are only after money.
Shame on you tabla.
Edit: they refunded when they called back.
Regardless do not trust them as they have massive cross contamination issues. They are adamant they did not use any nuts in the preparation but that's my only allergy. I was allergy tested not even 6 months ago so I'm 100% certain my only allergies are nuts.
