A sweet treat for any Animal Kingdom day!

Came here to try the Pineapple Upside-Down Sundae. Aside from the traditional Dole Whip that you can find here, this dessert looked and sounded different so I had to try it!

The cast member service was great as always. Fun and pleasant to interact with.

The sundae itself was really good! The sweetness of the vanilla ice cream paired very well with the soft crumb of the cake. The cake itself wasn't warm - it was more room temperature. So, if you are looking for that 'cold and hot' sensation, you won't find that here. But dont get me wrong, the cake was still fresh. The caramel topping with the strusel added another layer of flavour and texture that really rounded this treat out.

If you are in Animal Kingdom and looking for a solid, go-to treat, this is the one I would recommend. I know I will probably get it again on my next Disney trip.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments is a quick service snack bar on a busy corner in Disney's Animal Kingdom Africa section. It serves a variety of beverage and snack refreshments, including the famed Dole Whip. Adult beverage versions are also offered and are highly recommended!

We had been looking for pineapple ice cream to enjoy at the end of our day. Fortunately, we discovered this refreshing place. Everything was delicious! The highlight was definitely the Pineapple Crisp Sundae! 😋

Ordered 3 dole whip, $7 each. Kids were disappointed, portion size is small...wish we just stuck with the Mickey ice cream instead. I think it can be hit or miss... last visit it was ok. Won't bother trying again at the high price. They could at least make portions consistent.

LOVE Dole Whip. Floats are good and the pineapple sundae is delicious. Can’t go wrong here. No seating or place to stand and eat.
