Taverna Opa Orlando

My wife and I recently dined at Taverna Opa, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Greek cuisine was phenomenal—every dish was fresh, bursting with flavor, and served piping hot. The atmosphere was lively and perfect for a date night with my beautiful wife. When we cheered and said “Opa!” with our drinks, they threw napkins in the air, creating a festive atmosphere with napkins playfully scattered around the floor. Inside, there was also a stunning paper flower tree, adding a beautiful touch to the ambiance. The food was incredible, and the entertainment, and to see my wife dancing with the belly dancer made the evening even more special. We truly fell in love with the food and the ambiance, and I’m even considering changing my diet because it was that good! We highly recommend Taverna Opa for anyone looking for an amazing Greek dining experience. and I’ll end it like my wife loves to say Opa.!!!

Taverna Opa is a very lively restaurant. I am always striving to try new dishes when traveling. I love the vibe there, the belly dancers, and the napkins being thrown in the air all over the restaurant. It’s just a fun family restaurant. Their French fries were delicious. Hot, golden, crispy fries seasoned just well.

This place! Oh my - what a surprise treat! We took college age daughters and we all LOVED it. The service was sharp yet laid back -no rush to leave our table! We sat at 6:15pm and the festivities started at 7pm with belly dancing and just kept ramping up for the next hour. SO FUN!
The food was also really delicious - try the honey Paloma, Greek salad, feta bake and lamb ribs! This will be part of a new tradition when we visit Orlando. FYI - It is LOUD as there is actually a DJ, so grandparents or others sensitive to sound may not enjoy this.
Cost: our bill for 4 was around $180, which included 3 appetizers and 4 mains and 2 desserts & only water to drink. You could spend about $20 person or far more. Def worth it as an event and not just dinner 🙂

We had an absolute blast at Taverna Opa. The music ana drinks were amazing ! The belly dancers were wonderful. The energy of the whole place was a vibe! Not to mention, the food was delicious. I highly recommend this place for good eat and tons of fun!
