Michelle the bartender was absolutely incredible! Her drinks were on point, the food was amazing and fresh and my drink was never empty. She is very attentive and made regular rounds to assure everyone had what they needed. She is a top performer for sure!

Felt nostalgic and came with a few friends visiting from out of town. Honestly, I just don’t know what happened here. We were greeted quickly enough and seated, but then we just sat there waiting. Two servers acknowledged us, but we think they might have just been trying to be nice and thought the other server was taking care of us. It was very strange.
Eventually, we gave up around the ten minute mark and went somewhere else. Maybe it was just rotten luck, but it was enough that we all lost any desire to come back again. We never minded the trek to go here before, but I suppose those days are gone for good now.
Update:
Got talked into coming back by a friend who insisted we just got in on an off night. Worst mistake ever. The servers ignored us, but my friend insisted we stay. We watched two other tables get service while we waited to be greeted and given the chance to order. My burger and the one my wife ordered was very nearly raw when we’d asked for mid rare. The fries were underdone. They brought fresh food out after we complained, but it was pointless. The replacements were overdone and had something spicy added we couldn’t identify. My friend thought it might be jalapeño juice, but we were just guessing at that point. The original server never did come back, and the new one just shrugged a lot when asked questions. Lesson learned. This business is simply not what it used to be back in the old days and even my friend said he won’t be going back now. Truly puzzling. I will say that I waited a while before posting this in an effort to give the experience time to settle for us and to keep emotion out of the mix.

I love tea. I always get wings from here and it is amazing. By the way I love the Coke here. It’s very delicious and also the desserts are really good. I recommend it.

We've come in here a few times. I love the atmosphere and the type of customers that come in. The service is good, though I would suggest maybe making everyone feel welcome not just your corner of people. The food is good, but the quantity and price could match up a little better. Other than that, it's a cute bar, good customers, good vibe!

Complete slackers. While staying at Universal we made a special trip out because the menu looked so incredible. We came in and sat at the bar. A female bartender told us twice she would be with us soon and a male bartender also said he would be with us soon. None of that ever happened. We sat for 15 minutes with no menu, no drink, and no service - and it was only moderately busy. We got up and walked out, and they never once tried to stop us. It felt as though they were purposefully being slack so they didn’t have to do any additional work. Pathetic. Avoid this place - took a chunk out of our vacation day and they could’ve cared less.
Absolutely delicious menu and excellent service, highly recommended

I live close by and want to like this place. The first time I had great service and the food was also pretty good. The 2nd time I sat outside and the service was terrible at the bar. Employees more worried about socializing and hanging with one who got off shift and was drinking at the bar. Felt like a burden asking for another drink and asking for the check. They only attended to the seemingly circle of friend regulars. 3rd time I went back and sat inside... and again terrible service, and almost left bc noone came to take our order..then almost left again after drinks never came. It's weird bc it could be great with better staff.. or atleast getting rid of the bad ones. The food is good and worthwhile but the service screams hole in wall dive bar for neighborhood regulars. Shame bc I wanted a burger tonight but don't want to deal with the bad service.

Ever just want a DAMN GOOD burger? Teak is where it’s at for me. I’m SO SAD they are further away. The night I went was so busy I hand to God swear it took an hour for my food. The first bite was SO worth it though.
Gordon Ramsey burger is hands down the best I have ever had. …before that it was Teak. Not comparing because…it’s Gordon Ramsey but boy could they be on their way up. Just. …hold the garlic on those scalloped potatoes omg

I was in one evening to get some wings and a beer. I have been coming to Teak for many years. The food has always been good. The service this particular time was less than acceptable. My beer was empty for about 20 minutes before anyone asked me if I needed anything. The unprofessional atmosphere was completely unacceptable. The bartender and I believe the general manager were busy hanging on their boyfriends sitting at the bar. This is so very unprofessional for the guests to see.
