A friend and I went just for dessert but I love the vibe of this place. We got the pineapple cake and it was delicious and the bartenders were lovely. Definitely recommend stopping by!

My husband and I were looking for a place to hang out. And we saw that this is a Hawaian Restaurant. We came in a Sunday and there was game playing. Definitely a sports crowd.Even though its a busy crowd, we are immediatelt accomodated and the staff always check on us if we need anything. That says alot with me. Parking is at the backDefinitely give this place a visit when you’re in the area.

The 808 is a wonderful place with amazing food & really friendly staff! All of their vegan options are good but my favorite has been the vegan poke bowl?

I think some of the reviews don’t make sense. The service, food quality portion and taste and atmosphere/vibe were pretty on point. Those doughnuts were killer. My only complaint is not such rough music would be nice, 75% of the time the music was good.

Nice neighborhood restaurant in Thornton Park which is one of the few livable neighborhoods in Orlando. Excellent service. Inside and outside seating so you can bring your dog. All in all a very nice experience. I would have given 5 stars for food if there were more vegetarian options but it is an Hawaiian restaurant and you get lots of Spam! If you are not a vegetarian - it is a great restaurant and the food is excellent. A nice addition to the neighborhood.

Vegetarian options: Minimal vegetarian options but there are some

We came here to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday! It was so nice to have a friendly server and energetic atmosphere! I got the POG Juice, Pork Sandwich, and the Hawaiian Donuts!

Run by and check the new mural outside of the 808 by Corie Mattie. She flew in by way of Los Angeles in support of diversity and inclusion for the state of Florida. It's a great mural.Try the poke bowl. ?

We went after our daughter's late graduation. We couldn't find any other late night restaurants in the area. The fact that everything else in the area was closed was a blessing in disguise. We absolutely loved the ambiance, food, and service. A+. This place is a GEM ? and we will definitely be back. We had a party of 15 and several different options were ordered and everyone loved their food. The drink options were great too.

Went here for the first time in support of the LGBTQ+ community for their Pride Brunch. The service was amazing. Our server Dakota was super friendly and attentive. Had the Spam and Hash bowl for brunch, and it was delicious! Also, had the drink called Rise and Grindz, and that hit the spot to top off my brunch. Will definitely come by here again next time I am in Orlando.

Parking: Parking for 808 is behind their building but has very limited spaces, as they share that lot with the condos/apartments next to them.

My husband and I drove from The Disney area up to Downtown Orlando looking for some authentic tasting Hawaiian food. I read the reviews and looked at the photos from others and felt comfortable with our choice. When we arrived at The 808 and spent 20 minutes driving around looking for a parking spot that should have been our cue. After a quick call to the restaurant we were told they had limited parking behind the restaurant. We arrived and walked into a Hawaiian Bar Theme atmosphere- emphasizing Bar. My husband ordered the Spam Can Mai Tai that was so strong he literally had to water it down with his water. I ordered the Pineapple Bowl and my husband ordered the 2 meat lunch plate with a side of Spam Musubi. I am not sure how big their kitchen may be but the Pineapple Bowl legit tasted like boiled rice with microwaved vegetables poured over the top with some sauce on the bottom. My husband got the pork and huli chicken and was by far unimpressed. The spam musubi which on the island we know is a finger food, has sauce poured over the top. We had planned for dessert but couldn’t make it to that point as the food was so bland we couldn’t finish our meal. It’s a first I’ve thrown out more than half my meal. As to the atmosphere, again bar all the way. The atmosphere is of an island and yet they don’t even play music to support the theme. It’s more top 40. The server had a Lafayette from True Blood vibe which was completely off kilter as we aren’t in the bayou. I would not suggest making the trip if you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian food but if you’re going for drinks or a cute bar then you may enjoy it.

We do love the 808... who can resist the Spam Can drink? And the munchy snacks are good also

What a great surprise- we ran across this restaurant while on a quick trip. Great food and service!

A very unique place to eat. I had the Hawaiian stir fry with spam and my husband had the fried rice with chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The sauces that came with the fried rice were awesome. Portions were large, I took half of the stir fry home. Service was a little slow at first but once our order was in they were very attentive, pleasant and prompt. We would definitely go back!

Not very impressive. The service was actually excellent, I have zero complaints about how I was treated. I wish I remembered the names of the two young ladies working behind the bar because they were great and I'd like to shout them out (we were there at about 5:30 on 3/14). They were friendly, prompt and great at their jobs. That said, the food just wasn't very good. My wife ordered the kalua pork sliders. The pork was good but the pineapple salsa wasn't a good idea. It doesn't hold together well so it goes everywhere when you try to pick up the slider.I had the plate lunch with salmon poké and kalua pork. Again, the pork was good but the salmon wasn't very fresh and didn't taste much like poké, or at least any I've ever had. The macaroni salad was very bland (even by macaroni salad standards) and the portions were pretty small.I didn't hate this meal (thus the middling rating) but I wouldn't return.

Parking: Very limited parking. Almost nothing on the street, but there's a little pay lot nearby that takes cash or cashapp

Dakota was the only good thing about our meal. She was so kind and sweet, and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves! My party personally didn’t care for our food. My most notable complaint would be the dry, flavorless macaroni salad… which was the whole reason we went to this location in the first place. My Buddha bowl was definitely unique, but just wasn’t for me. A little seasoning could go a long way.
