We were here for an event at the Kia center. We made reservations and boy are glad. The place was very busy we were seated just before our reservation time. The wait staff and were stressed but did a very good job of meeting customer needs. The bartender was also incredibly busy, so the drinks were not the best. The kitchen, however, did Ana amazing job delivering exceptional food in what I can not imagine was no easy task with so many orders. We will definitely revisit !

I made a reservation for 9:30 pm. Tried to call first but was left on hold for 6 mins. Then i made reservations with open table. Arrived at restaurant & door was closed. Called and was told they closed early that day and they have no record of reservation. Multiple people came and found door locked The Kia center is 1/2 block away and the show had just let out. How stupid to close early on a day there was a show. The manager came out of remove the sign outside and i approached him and his excuse is that was on open table bc they normally close at 10 and wouldn't take a reservation at 9:30. No apologies at all. Luckily there are other places on the area open to accommodate late dining. Shame on them

DO NOT BOOK. Embarrassed to know this is even black owned. Reservation made and confirmed then when I arrive they say “ We aren't sure how you were able to book the reservation”. Literally what is that supposed to mean? There were numerous people WITH reservations outside. You guys are “ serious” to ask people to put a card down to book but NOT serious enough to be open ... makes no sense at all. Good luck with business .

Understaffed! Waited 50 minutes for drinks! Waited over an hour for food! Food was forgotten for my friend and it was just gumbo that had to be poured in a bowl! Our server did her best bust she was overwhelmed! When the Kia Center is having an event, they should know to staff better! Do not recommend!

We decided to try this restaurant because of its location near the Kia Center. We were a little hesitant due to some reviews we read. BUT, it turned out to be a great choice. We started with the wings and they were delicious. Ordered extra crispy with the sticky asian sauce on the side and thats how they came out. really good! Before I continue, part of the reason it was such a good time was because we found seats at the Bar. Our bartender, Chase, was amazing! Great personality and great drinks!! We also order the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and that was SO good! Chase had to leave so we closed out with him and the next bartender was amazing as well. I would probably recommend sitting at the bar but our experience was wonderful! then a nice short walk to the Kia center!

I honestly had higher expectations. It was very hard to get a reservation and they had good reviews so I expected that it would be a great place to eat. We waited about 10 minutes to be greeted at the table just to have the server take our drink order and then pass it off to another server. Then the server that we had for the remainder of the time took anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to bring a drink or food. The oysters Rockefeller were not seasoned. The shrimp and grits lacked any flavor at all. I actually added hot sauce just for flavor. When we finally had finished, what should've been less than an hour meal an hour and a half later we waited another half an hour just we brought our check. I'm thinking this has to do with the fact that they tack on 20% no matter what. The thing is is that we always tip at least 20%. No matter how the service was they still would've gotten this tip. I think the issue is that because they know they're getting it anyway there's no sense of urgency or customer service involved. I would not recommend going here based on that above.

Amazing wings and enjoyed the experience where not only we were asked if we want them crispy or extra crispy. But every option on the brunch menu was amazing from the Sangria, to the unlimited mimosas, the shrimp and grits and biscuits were amazing 😭🔥 Enjoy that the big platter had cheese on the grits and was the perfect texture Only downside was that our waitress is a cowboys fan 😂

Black owned businesses downtown with A1 customer service! We came for brunch and the selection was fantastic. Drink selection was great. Lynn was amazing a she was very attentive to our needs even though she was the only one at the bar. They were slow only one cook so the food took a while to come out. We had to send the fried rice because it was a bit salty for our taste. Other than that PLEASE come check this place out.

I ordered the shrimp and grits, it was amazing! It included sausage and a small crab cake. Full of flavor and it was a good portion. The atmosphere was decent for watching football. The old school R & B music was a plus. It’s unfortunate that they don’t provide a check when it’s time to pay, they tell you the total and swipe your card, and beware of the 20% service fee.

The restaurant was clean and the overall vibe of the restaurant was great. We made reservations with hightop being the only option, hightop ended up being sitting at the bar. Overall taste and temperature of the food was very good. I ordered the surf and turf, with the surf option being two shrimp. One shrimp was a normal size, the other was VERY small. The dinner portions were very good amount. The service can be better, but they were very busy. We agreed that we would come back for dinner when we attend an event at the arena. The restaurant adds a 20% gratuity on all checks, which the server did notify us when presented with the check.

The food was OK. They had on the menus pizzas and flatbreads, but due to a new oven they just got they were unable to offer any of those items that were on the menu. The music was a little loud. And I was a little annoyed that when they came over for us to pay the bill, I was not informed that a 20% tip had already been added to my bill. My bill was $106 with the 20% tip already added. I was not informed of that and added an additional 20%. Our waitress was amazing But not a $40 tip on $100 bill. Overall, the place was OK, but I do not think I would seek it out to go again.

Owner was on his phone, with a drink, with the speaker on….have you not heard of ear buds, Casey? Every dish I wanted (5 different ones) was not available. Food ok, nothing special. Meh.
