We had the Cajun pasta and the shrimp and grits both were amazing!!!
Short staff. food was overcooked. Horrible.. Took an hour for three cheeseburgers and fries.

Black owned businesses downtown with A1 customer service! We came for brunch and the selection was fantastic. Drink selection was great. Lynn was amazing a she was very attentive to our needs even though she was the only one at the bar. They were slow only one cook so the food took a while to come out. We had to send the fried rice because it was a bit salty for our taste. Other than that PLEASE come check this place out.

I ordered the shrimp and grits, it was amazing! It included sausage and a small crab cake. Full of flavor and it was a good portion. The atmosphere was decent for watching football. The old school R & B music was a plus. It’s unfortunate that they don’t provide a check when it’s time to pay, they tell you the total and swipe your card, and beware of the 20% service fee.

The restaurant was clean and the overall vibe of the restaurant was great. We made reservations with hightop being the only option, hightop ended up being sitting at the bar. Overall taste and temperature of the food was very good. I ordered the surf and turf, with the surf option being two shrimp. One shrimp was a normal size, the other was VERY small. The dinner portions were very good amount. The service can be better, but they were very busy. We agreed that we would come back for dinner when we attend an event at the arena. The restaurant adds a 20% gratuity on all checks, which the server did notify us when presented with the check.
The food was OK. They had on the menus pizzas and flatbreads, but due to a new oven they just got they were unable to offer any of those items that were on the menu. The music was a little loud. And I was a little annoyed that when they came over for us to pay the bill, I was not informed that a 20% tip had already been added to my bill. My bill was $106 with the 20% tip already added. I was not informed of that and added an additional 20%. Our waitress was amazing But not a $40 tip on $100 bill. Overall, the place was OK, but I do not think I would seek it out to go again.
Owner was on his phone, with a drink, with the speaker on….have you not heard of ear buds, Casey? Every dish I wanted (5 different ones) was not available. Food ok, nothing special. Meh.

Such a great location right by the arena, the staff is always great every time I go. The food is just OK but overall a great experience with a good atmosphere
Highly recommend if you are in the area. Wide selection of bourbon and good comfort food. It can get really busy so I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

Restaurantji Recommends
great food and atmosphere.
Went here before a concert at the Kia Center. We have done this the last 4 concerts or so. We really enjoy this little restaurant...it's super convenient to the Kia Center and the food is good. You do need to make reservations tho if you are going on a concert night! Service was a little bit slow but not horrible,
Came here before a concert. Melissa was fantastic and everyone here had a great personality.

Gabriella the Bartender was awesome, gave a us a big welcome as soon as we walked into the restaurant.
The food was just as great - I highly recommend the Brussel Spouts (cooked to perfection) and the Chicken Wings. Hats off to the Chef.
