Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. Had to wait 35 after reservation time to be seated. Then waited 20 min before anyone took our order. The food arrived in a reasonable time time but 10 minutes before drinks. Every interaction we had, WE had to hunt down a staff member. No one ever approached us with any semblance of service. Food was delicious. Props to the kitchen! When the server “brought” the check, she just simply recited the items we ordered and what I thought was a total that seemed appropriate. She didn’t present a bill so I didn’t see the itemized amounts. I tapped the card, added a tip and then it hit me that the total didn’t make sense for what we ordered. When asked for an itemized bill, the hostess provided one. They had overcharged us by $8. When called out on it, they corrected it but not without any apologies or any attempt to keep my business. Overall, I rate the experience a 1/10, solely because the food was good. I will never be back and I caution all of you to ask for a paper bill and double check the math.

$17 chipotle chicken sandwich with no chipotle and a flaccid flapjack of a chicken between two pieces of bread with a sad little pickle on top. Brussel sprouts that were "candied" with nary a bit of flavor to them. Solid 2 star place to visit if everything else around is closed.

We went here for the first time before a basketball game and absolutely loved it.Has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. The service has always been excellent, the food is so good. The gator bites, catfish bites, also fish tacos… we have not had anything we did not like. You won’t be disappointed!!! People around us even taking about how good it is!

Wow so I just wanna start off with I was a SERVER at this place. They treat you absolutely horribly and if you have a table walk out on you or make a mistake in the system the owner has his SERVERS pay for it. So imagine a party walking out and now that comes out of YOUR paycheck. And that 20 percent service charge that’s automatically added 30 percent of it goes directly to the owner so I was advised I would recieve atleast 70 percent. BUT NO this stubborn disgusting owner KC decided that after almost two weeks of working there and consistently serving since day one that he had not signed off on my training and I would not receive ANY part of that 20 percent. He is a manipulative liar and also had told me that 30 percent went to the other employees like hostess and back of house just to find out it didn’t.I had already been helping new employees taking tables and was no longer in training AFTER DAY 1! So my lovely customers that I took care of I hope you find a genuine place to spend your money as this owner does not care about his customers or staff.

Shrimp and grits were on point. My son said that the wings were ok but, the built in 20% tip really killed it for me. I’ve been to other places that do this before but, it’s usually for large parties. We were a party of two. I walked out feeling like I had just “got got “.Our server was nice and the food came out pretty quick. Anyway, if she had given me an actual bill before taking my card, I would have seen that they had already added the tip . It’s my fault for not paying attention to the final cost of the meal vs. what I had actually ordered. Also, It didn’t make sense to me when she gave me the card reader and it gave me the option to add 3,7 or 10%. Once again, I guess that was my fault for not understanding what the card reader was asking me. I just wanted to make sure that the server got a decent tip so I actually did a custom tip for around 20% . After the number didn’t feel right , I asked her to print out the receipt and there it was …20%! ! I probably won’t be back because it feels kinda slimy that they handle business that way. You are probably ruining your chances of getting a lot of return customers. Enjoy that 20% from me . Probably won’t see it again.

Myself and some friends visited this bar from out of town. All 3 of our credit cards were flagged for fraudulent online and other charges after we left this establishment. I will be requesting a police investigation.

Food was sub-par, even for a gastro bar. We had the nachos, wings and gator bites I can't recommend anything except the bites, and only then because they were fried we covered in a tasty sauce that was provided. Our Drinks were late (even a Coke), and not made per order. Server had several issues. No apologies, only defensiveness.Great location, close to Kia Center. Might be good for a quick drink (beer) before thr game or a show.Kid-friendliness: We had our 12 year old, it was fine.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Not only did the drinks take for ever but when expressed our dissatisfaction to the owner not only did he yell at us but told us we could get out bc we were not happy. Instead of fixing the problem he escalated it and made us pay for everything even drinks we ordered but did not receive.

This was so convenient to grab a bite to eat prior to going to an event at the Kia Center. The food was delicious but the service was absolutely awful. Took forever to get our drinks that we ordered the second ones when the first ones finally came to get ahead of it. Almost cancelled our appetizer order because it was so delayed. And then all our entrees came out one by one about 3-5 minutes apart. Had to of been 20 minutes between the first persons food coming out to when finally the whole table was served. After the food came out our server was no where to be found until we had to flag her down for the check. The food was so good but just not a fun experience. If you're looking for a laid back no timeline place to have good food before a show or game, I'd recommend.

First, I'll say the food was fantastic, and that is why I'm giving 2 stars. But this review just goes downhill after that. I made a reservation online for mine and my wife's anniversary and found that "the District Gastrobar has a business casual dress code and I can be denied a table in the dining room if I or any member of my party does not arrive in proper attire." Which is fine. However, we walked 30 minutes to the restaurant from our hotel in not-exactly-comfortable clothing to be greeted by a host wearing shorts and t-shirt and surrounded by guests wearing the same. Still, not that bad. But, then we were served by a waitress (whom the bartender told me was named Betta) who would have been a better fit as a bartender at a dive bar. Her demeanor came off like someone who was drunk or on pills and she was slovenly, impatient and rude. When she came to take our order, I told her I was having a hard time deciding between two menu items, however she didn't let me finish my sentence and interrupted me after the word "deciding" to say: "Really? You've taken a lot of time!" before I could complete my statement and ask her which of the two menu items she would suggest. After we got the meal, she didn't check on us until our food was over 1/2 finished, and then she acted annoyed that I asked for a side of mayonnaise. She brought the check to us before we were done with the meal and I had to tell her that I was probably going to get dessert. She was, again, annoyed as she walked away. After that, I just wanted to get out of there, so I told her, politely, that I had decided against dessert and could we please get the check. When she pulled out the credit card reader, I was confused that it asked if I wanted to apply a "+3%, +7% or +10% tip," so I asked her why it wasn't the standard 18%, 20% and 22% tip? She said that we had already been charged an automatic 20% tip. I declined to give her an extra tip on top of 20% and she reacted by angrily mumbling something and grabbing the card reader out of my hands before stalking away from the table. Then, as we were headed towards the door, Betta sarcastically yelled across the length of the entire restaurant, "You two have a GREAT night." When I walked back in to the restaurant to use the restroom, I asked the bartender our servers name. I have no problem with giving a server a great tip for even mediocre service, but apparently extracting 20% from every guest automatically gives some servers the excuse to treat their guests like crap. I'm happy that the food was so good, because, otherwise, that experience with the server would have ruined our anniversary night out.

Stopped in before Tom Segura to kill time. Bartender Terrance has been great and literally has not stopped moving since we got here. Him and Kacey are killing it. 10/10 would come back!
