Wonderful place that more than justifies its price. Our server Cameron was a joy, shoutout to him for bringing camomile tea refills when I was here after losing my voice.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! Even as it was towards the end of the evening, the food still came out incredible. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their work. From being greeted by Leslie upon my entry, being helped choosing the best drink in my indecisiveness by Mariana, to being waited on by Cameron W. who very patiently helped me cater my meal to my tastes and cravings, my evening after an incredibly busy day made my exhaustion no longer an issue. I am one who frowns upon entering an establishment late, but mistaking the closing time was never an issue brought to my attention even as I walked in right before close! The staff is so kind and made my experience unexpectedly comforting.

This is my fourth visit to the Drake. I’m an Orlando native, but I reside in Dallas TX. My review today is about two drinks. 1st drink Grow a Pear was 7/10, you may rate it higher if sour is your thing. Overall a good drink, high alcohol content, and great presentation. 2nd drink Mango Mai Tai was a 10/10. Great taste, high alcohol content. Presentation was great, not too sweet, not too sour. Flavor and mix was perfect.

First time visiting here. The atmosphere is wonderful. Outdoor patio seating, bar seating, and table seating. I had The Beef, which was incredible. And so full of flavor. Definitely recommend dining here.

My girlfriends and I went to Drake Kitchen & Bar to celebrate our friend’s birthday, and the experience was amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, and the attention from the staff was exceptional. Our waiter, Cameron L, was very friendly, kind, and attentive throughout our brunch. I highly recommend this restaurant — we’ll definitely be back!

The place is very nice looking, it has a really positive vibe. There were some food items that were amazing such as the (Goat cheese croquettes, their salmon and the chorizo Basco+favas). However, I was disappointed with the lack of quality with certain food items. For the (Arroz the la Costa), the rice itself was delicious but the octopus was almost undercooked, the skin was very slime and the texture was very chewy. Also, when I tasted the one prawn head that comes in the dish it literally tasted very rancid like it has gotten bad a few days ago. For the (crab and spinach fondutta) i can say it was very good and creamy, but was disappointing that it had zero crab chunks at all. (The fire roasted chicken) was also another dissapoiment. For the flavor and taste in general it was okay, but the texture was so hard even with the knife you couldn't cut it easily. I believe the chicken was very undercooked which makes me overwhelmed because looks they have no kitchen supervisor. The food is way too expensive to be serving people poor quality or even raw food. But when it comes to the service it was very nice, waitress was very fiendly and she understood some of my issues with the food and they offered to take some food item off of the bill. Despite that, I still feel very skeptical about trying it again.

First visit to The Drake. Compliments to the bartender who fixed my mimosa - really good. Also, the Avocado + Smoked Salmon Toast was fresh and good, though a bit tough trying to cut through the sourdough toast. As for the Fried Chicken, over cooked and overpriced @ $30 (no sides)! You brine chicken for it to be tender and juicy, not to ruin in overcooking. And, how is it on a different day the fried chicken is served w/ grits and a glass of champagne for $30? And, at one point, Leslie totally failed to remember half of our order. Questionable whether we will return or not.

Cameron L was so nice and friendly. He had great recommendations. We came for Sunday brunch and got the brunch prefix. Everything was just as Cameron described. He was such a genuinely nice person with great customer service.

I’ve been to The Drake before and had a pleasant experience—great cocktails and pizza—so I’m giving 2 stars. Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing enough that I will not be returning.

My sister and I came for happy hour to celebrate my birthday, but from the moment we entered, the service was confusing and unwelcoming. The host asked if we had a reservation—we didn’t—and said the only available seats were at the bar, even though several were empty and being used by staff. He suggested outside seating, and only after we started walking did he indicate that high tops were also an option. Once seated, we waited ten minutes with no greeting, no utensils, and incorrect menus.

A staff member eventually brought waters but immediately noted she wasn’t our server and said, “I assumed tap,” which was odd and unprofessional. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I know the standard practice is to at least apologize, clarify drink orders, and provide basic service—even if you’re not the assigned server. None of that happened.

After fifteen more minutes with wrong menus, tap water, and no silverware, our server finally arrived—without an apology for the delay or confusion—and asked, “Are you okay? Do you know what you want?” This lack of professionalism and awareness was shocking.

We decided to leave, and no one from management approached us to apologize or attempt to resolve the situation. The restaurant was far from busy, with at least seven servers on staff, yet service was completely inadequate.

My birthday evening was saved only by leaving and going elsewhere. I understand delays can happen, but this was a clear failure in customer service. I will not be returning to The Drake.
