Some seven years ago a young man approached me in my food truck with lots of questions on starting a food truck business. As is my habit I offered the good and the bad, all the steps I knew of that had to be done. We met several times and I lost track of him. As it turned out he started the Duck and Drake food truck and was quite popular here in Orlando. Imagine my surprise when dining at the a restaurant in Orlando called The Drake (I should have known) Heberto come out of the kitchen and greets me with my guests. A kind and generous Chef offering a very interesting menu. From happy hour bites, pizza, tapas, duck and everything in between. I believe you will find a favorite on this menu. Pro tip, get an order of the prime beef meatballs. The staff from the hostess, the bar staff to our waiter were excellent. Try the outside patio. Put The Drake in you must try list in Orlando.

I had to find a place within a few weeks for a large work event dinner. The Drake staff worked so well in helping to plan the menu and plan for a great seating layout for the large group. We had 30 people attend. The food was fantastic! Everyone loved it. The service was also exceptional. The assistant General Manager, Saudia, helped make the dinner go so smoothly. Definitely recommend The Drake to anyone looking to plan a dinner for small or large parties!

First time visiting The Drake and it DID NOT disappoint. We had an amazing brunch on the patio with Niko as our server. From the atmosphere to our server, the drinks from the bar and the exceptional food it couldn't not have been a better experience. We will definitely be back to try all of the great menu options.
We had an amazing brunch experience! The atmosphere was great, perfect weather for the patio and all of the plants make the space so inviting. Our service was 10/10, everyone was so polite and friendly. Niko our service was the most pleasant and offered so many suggestions of his favorite things. Ownership walked around and asked us about our meal several times. Drinks were fantastic with our group trying several specialty cocktails. The real star of the show however was the food. Dishes are perfectly curated for the best meal. We enjoyed the Drake Benedict, Double Duck Pizza, and Crispy French Toast along with the breakfast bread basket. I don’t know which I loved more but I will be back to try the other menus!

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Nice crowd inside and out. Love the vibe. Cozy but not sitting on top of one another. Smooth music. Calming interior. How I like to unwind on the weekend. Waiter was attentive but not pushy. Helpful with wine choice for my daughter. Since I was the DD I had a great NA beer from Brooklyn Brewery. Honestly thought it was the real deal. Shared plates were perfect for lunch. Sliders cooked perfectly. Refreshing watermelon salad. Flatbread with three spreads that were flavorful and smart. It was paced perfectly. I felt relaxed and satisfied and will for sure be headed back the next time I am in the area. Thumbs up to The Drake.
