During my travels to Orlando, Florida, I had the pleasure of dining at The Drake Kitchen + Bar, and it was an exceptional experience. As a frequent traveler and someone who enjoys exploring diverse, high-quality cuisines, I found the atmosphere to be both sophisticated and welcoming.
The absolute highlight of the meal was the Lobster Risotto—it was truly blissful, with perfectly cooked lobster and a rich, creamy texture that stood out as one of the best dishes I've had recently. The attention to detail in the kitchen is evident, and the service was professional and attentive throughout the evening. Whether you are a local or just passing through the area as a Hilton Honors or Southwest Rapid Rewards member like myself, this spot is well worth a visit for a refined and delicious meal.

We had such a great experience at The Drake Kitchen + Bar! We couldn’t take many pictures because we were too busy enjoying the food.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Brugal 1888 on the menu. As a Dominican, I had to try it — and the cocktail did not disappoint!
We ordered the goat cheese croquettes, crab and spinach fonduta, black angus steak frites, and the Drake burger. For dessert, we had the pavlova. Everything was absolutely delicious, and you can really tell the food is homemade. The quality and flavors stood out.
Our server was excellent — he gave us great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the entire menu. The food came out quickly, and the overall service made the experience even better.
Later, I learned that the restaurant is owned by a Dominican, which made me even more proud to support this place. We’ll definitely be back

Had my birthday brunch here with some friends this past weekend and Parker made sure to make the entire time a special outing for all of us, going above and beyond in service and recommendations. Appreciated the bottle top turtles! Can’t wait to go back and have those french toast again.

Mandi got us right from the moment we stepped in the place. Her knowledge of the food and its origin location, to the drinks and how they were fermented, was impressive to say the least. We were glad we got her as our service professional. And we had a birthday celebration happening, and she stepped up to the plate and knocked it out the park.
The Drake is a wonderful establishment. The food and service is top tier. They greet you as soon as you walk in, make you feel comfortable, and are very attentive. I was with a party of 5 and I must say the service was impeccable. They focused on each of us, asked of any food allergies, and made the entire experience great. We got a little back story on the owners and how it all began. Coming from Dominican Republic and creating a phenomenal dining experience in the heart of DT was the best thing that could've happened for our neighborhood! If you're in the area please stop in for a wonderful dining experience.

Came in at 3pm on a sunday. Party of 1 and asked to sit on the patio. I set outside as a party of one for well over 15 minutes. No one came to approach me. As I'm leaving now, people want to get me a drink...after i put the water the host gave me on the bar and let them know no onehad come to great me..Do not spend your money in this establishment , especially if you're a person of color because they completely will ignore you.
