Very dark neighborhood. Super sketchy strip mall. Terrible signage. No one else in the place. I should’ve taken that as a sign.
Service. Was. HORRIBLE. I’m fairly sure there it was just the server and the cook. They were yelling at each other while we were there. Our server never a stopped taking on his group video chat the WHOLE TIME we were there. Even when he and the cook were yelling at each other. We had to ask for water. He didn’t bring us utensils. Just completely ignored us except to take our order and drop off our food. We had to go to the counter to pay.
The food was so-so. They didn’t have what we drove there for. Not worth the efforts we extended to find the place. I would never go back and I don’t recommend this restaurant.

As a vegan myself I was really excited to try this place out, at first my family and I thought we got the address wrong because we ended up in a scetch plaza. Once we walked in the atmosphere was way more welcoming than the outside, as soon as we walked in someone came out and said welcome. He didn’t show us to a table and then we asked if we can seat ourselfs and he didn’t respond and went on his phone we asked again and he said sure.
Once we sat down in about 5 minutes our waiter the same guy we met at the desk, asked what we wanted for lunch, he didn’t ask us about appetizers or drink. Then I said what I wanted and it was out of stock, about 10 minutes later the owner got us our waters because our server was also the chef, because their were only two workers in the restaurant. Later our original server brought us complimentary empanadas. Our food then arrived and the beans were cold, there was very few vegetables, and the rice was dry and undercooked.

Hi, i hope this message reaches the owner.
Today on november 29th myself my wife and kids ate lunch at the earthy kitchen. We order from her very frequently whether through uber eats or in person the owner knows who i am along with my wife and two daughters
Today we received horrible service from whoever Jose was, working this afternoon. He refused to speak to me he only spoke to my wife and only spoke in spanish. The never offered anything to drink for us. The food was cold and seemed microwaved my youngest daughter spit out her food and refused to eat. I have never seen her do that! My wife refused to eat since the man had his hand in his pants behind the counter and was running his nose when serving us. My youngest wanted to go to the car so my wife left and i paid. He then ran out to our car and approached my wife stating its rude our kids left a mess and we didn't tip. He barely acknowledged us the whole meal he only spoke to the other couple who were dining.
This is probably the last time we eat here. The owner is very nice but Jose completely ruined our experience.

They are no longer just vegan. Google needs to fix this so people don’t waste their time driving up there just to find out meat is served here. I don’t eat where there is possibility of cross contamination because most employees are not properly educated on vegan food and how serious it is not to cross contaminate. I ended up in the hospital after eating a vegan meal from Whole Foods that they had meat next to it dropping into the vegan food.

Puertorrican food vegan and regular, the best of both worlds. The food, vegan or regular is great. If you have a family member that is vegan, now all can enjoy food together without having to coose one or the other.

Amazing vegan options. Food was fantastic and the price was great. Got it for take out but the inside of the restaurant is lovely. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

We visited expecting a plant-based restaurant but instead found a small plant-based menu hidden on the back of a full meat menu. The name outside has changed to D’Pura Cepa, and the exterior was not very inviting—it even looked closed at first glance. Inside, we were greeted kindly, though it seemed only one person was running the entire place, and there were no other diners during our visit. Unfortunately, they were out of jackfruit, which limited the already small selection of options for us. We ended up paying nearly $20 for just 10 yuca fries and 5 tostones. While someone did come in for a takeout order, the overall experience felt underwhelming.
The food was amazing here! The jackfruit pork was soooo goodd, a bit salty but the flavor was there! The plantains were also well cooked they were fresh and so tasty. Grilled chick’n was great it was so good with the beans that they have.

Ordered the mofongo and it came with barely any toppings but the world’s largest scoop of mofongo. It was very dry and not worth $17 at all. Very disappointed

Very enjoyable food! I've ordered the food on UberEats many times, but I'm avoiding that now, so i don't visit as much as it's not an area I'm in often. But the food is great! Had similar Latin vegan food down in Miami, and this place keeps my sanity considering how much I want to revisit the place in Miami. This and Purple Ocean Superfood in Waterford. Definitely recommend! Great empanadas (idk how to spell it) and Cuban sandwich!

My Puerto Rican husband and I came here to try the vegan menu. We really enjoyed it. To us, everything was delicious! I have seen many reviews that would say otherwise, but what we had was great. Lentil empanada, jackpork entree with habichuelas and arroz con gandules, jackpork mofongo, tostones, and yuca fries. Portions were ample and we could not finish (we did order a lot). I have zero complaints about the food. It was hot and fresh. Those yuca fries 👩🏻🍳😚! So good! Everything was flavorful. The jackfruit “pork” was amazing. The atmosphere inside is trendy and cool, but the outside is kind of run down and shady…not entirely their fault what the shopping center looks like. I was not sure if this was the right place, because there is no sign for The Earthly Kitchen. The only signage is for D’ Pura Cepa, and once inside you realize they are one in the same. I’m guessing they’ve merged to reach a larger audience? So there are the vegan offerings on one side of the regular menu.
We are already talking about coming back, and bringing my husband’s family. I don’t know why there aren’t more people going here. It did take a while for an employee to emerge and acknowledge me, but I just so happened not to be in a hurry and did not mind, but I could see how others would be extremely annoyed by that. Once I got a menu, they were very attentive and polite.

I really wanted to like this place and have tried giving them a chance multiple times since they opened, but each experience has been lackluster at best and negative at worst. This most recent time, I called to place a pickup order and the person taking my order informed me that they did not have multiple items that I wanted to order. I tried to work with her to figure out what could be ordered in place of the items they didn’t have and she was not helpful at all. It was clear to me that she did not care to help me. I finally got an order placed and when I arrived to pick it up, I was really confused because I could not easily identify the restaurant (I have been here at least 3 times, but it’s been a while), as there is no signage for The Earthy Kitchen on the building, only a sign with another name. We ordered the Chicken Chicharron entree, the Cuban with fries, and tripleta with fries. The Chicken Chicharron was the only good one. Both sandwiches were basically all jackfruit inside and hardly any of the other stuff and the fries were soggy and unseasoned. Unfortunately, we do not plan on coming back to this restaurant. We love supporting all vegan restaurants and that’s why we gave them multiple chances, but this was the last time.
