The only thing you can get here are plain tater tots. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-07

A memorable brunch!
Having a little mid-morning craving, we popped into this restaurant.
Very warm welcome, quick support and efficient service.
The donuts are succulent as are the savory dishes covered with a very generous layer of cheddar.
I recommend this restaurant whose quality/price ratio is respected

The Friar's Nook is a small quick service food stop with a very limited menu and no seating. It is designed to be a grab and go restaurant. That said, the food is good and the service is quick. As an added convenience they also accept mobile ordering. It's a great option for grabbing something quick while on the move and it is fairly centrally located within Magic Kingdom.

We love to stop for a mid-morning or mid afternoon snack here! The tots are a favorite of our family, and the new Lavender Lemonade was popular with my picky children! We really enjoyed the Halloween Party version of the tots in September and October 2023 for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This location closes earlier than park close. Mobile order is available at this location. Update as of 8/17/24 - we still LOVE this location, but on our last visit, their mobile order cast members seemed to really struggle each of the days we visited. Perhaps they were just new or new to mobile order. Food was cold 2 our of 4 times we visited on this trip just due to confused workers who might need a bit more training. If lines are not long, I would stand in a regular line at this point.

Xavier was nice to clean our table! Thank you! Tots with toppings and cold drinks. Could there be more fans? Sure. Is there shade? I guess. But adding a couple more fans would make me love the Nook. Breakfast sandwich has been called a "hangover sandwich", but I mean it's tasty whether that's the case or not.

I’m also surprised by talk the bad reviews. I mean, when you pull up to a place that operates mostly in heavy cheese sauce you gotta keep your expectations level. Yeah, it’s not top notch Disney fare, but if you need a little Mac and cheese fix it’s got you covered. We love some Mac and cheese tots before the fireworks. And the caramel apple has pie is reallllllly good. Yes, wish there was more seating but that’s to be said of every where in MK.

Like so many WDW resturants, finding a seat here can be a challenge. I ordered the plant-based bratwurst that comes with sauerkraut (which was served warm?) Pretzel Bun was nice. This is nothing really special but good if you want a quick and filling meal and okay with fried food.

Honestly very surprised to see all the bad reviews. My family has not stopped talking about the tots with mac and cheese since we went to the restaurant back in November. Our experience might be different fromothers in the parks since we did not go during the regular hours. We were there for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We ordered a few plates of the tots and mac and cheese, and even were able to share since it was too much for some of our party. The seating is limited so you definitely have to either wait for a spot or take your food somewhere else.Either way, we will probably be back during the day for a snack.

Please go somewhere else in MK to eat. The food is waaay too overpriced for the quality of food. 2 items we ordered should have NEVER been allowed out of their kitchen. The bratwurst was over-cooked to the point of not even being able to bite into it. The pretzel bun it came on was so stale and hard, again you could not bite into it. Our child received apple slices for a side- it was given to us opened and the apples were super rotten. The seating is crowded and VERY dirty. Honestly, it’s surprising considering the high standards Disney has for all other places in the park.
