2024 , Don't drive by the inauspicious sign. There are several Mexican stops within a minute , but this is the best. I've been here many times in 2 years. It's always clean, the service is attentive, and the food is consistently delicious. It's also a quieter place to have a not-expensive date. The Bistec Mexicana is amazing, with the best mild salsa & fresh chips. And they are open until midnight except closed Monday. & Fried Ice Cream!
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, but La Fiesta across the street is more festive and they have a full bar for the parents. Los Generales is a calm quaint atmosphere for adults.

Mexican Cuisine is by far my favorite. Moving from the Midwest and being exposed to authentic Mexican cuisine sets the bar quite high when you move. Boy have we tried Mexican Restaurants in the area but none compare to this one. We have definitely found THE ONE! The food at Los Generales Mexican Restaurant is outstanding! Fresh and distinctively authentic! And the staff! They are amazing! From the time you step foot inside, you are greeted with a smile and always attended to with great pleasure. They make you feel welcomed, like you are family. Thank you for such a great experience. I am so glad we found you! Highly recommend!

I would eat here again. It’s a little pricey, but then again so is everything now. I had the braised pork dish and it was very good. My girlfriend liked her meal as well. They didn’t have non-alcoholic beer, which I would have preferred had it been available. I don’t drink, but I like the occasional “beer” with my meal, and there are great non-alcoholic beers on the market that taste amazingly like their boozy cousins.

Good authentic Mexican food. I will never go anywhere else to eat Mexican food.
The guacamole is better than my guacamole and I make very very very very good guac!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Mexican food because seriously this is authentic. The food is cooked by Mexican people not Asian people just FYI. Nothing against Asian people cooking Mexican food but I'm from the old school. Mexican people are good at cooking Mexican food Asian people are very good at cooking Asian food a southern cook is very good at making Southern cuisine. So please don't anybody jump down my throat about this ?❤️
Vegetarian options: I can't tell you about the vegetarian options because I'm not vegetarian my daughter is and she had no problems ordering off their menu.
Parking: There's plenty of parking right in front of the store. It's like a little strip mall with only two or three businesses besides the restaurant.

This is a favorite spot of ours, always the first choice when we want Mexican food. Simply amazing from the starter chips and salsa to every dish we've tried. The staff are kind and attentive. The mole sauce is the best in town! The flavors are authentic, they never overdo ingredients (like some places do with salt), and every flavor is perfectly portioned. Thank you for a great visit every time!

Very bad costumer service even when they mess it up on the other and did not make the food they wanted for me to wait even longer as other were eating and don’t even apologize and please don’t ask another waiter to get something they would flat out tell you I’m not you waiter it was a bad experience won’t be going back
