Good drinks, gets packed. Kinda loud.
Bartender Jake made sure I was taken care of. Drinks were delicious. I didn't have any of the food, but the drinks were perfect.
Every time I’ve gone to Guesthouse, I’ve had a terrible experience. The acoustics are horrendous—it’s just a big, echo chamber box where every sound bounces and gets painfully louder as more people arrive. For anyone even remotely sensitive to noise, it’s an instant sensory overload.
The lighting is just as bad: super dark inside, with harsh, awkward shadows that make it hard to see people’s faces, especially in the early evening when daylight outside only makes the contrast worse. It somehow manages to be both gloomy and unflattering at the same time.
Honestly, I’d rather go to the shabbiest dive bar in Orlando than come back here. The drinks are fine, but nothing about the atmosphere makes up for how physically uncomfortable it is to be here. I’m actually sitting outside right now, just trying to pull myself together before I leave.
They really need to fix the lighting and the acoustics. Until then, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
Loyal customer 4 years until a drunk bartender assaulted me and shared my private info during a parking lot incident. Bar took no accountability and later banned me without reason. Stay cautious.
Nice vibe, but way too much ice in the drinks.
Just go! Have an Old fashioned, thank me later.
A little pricier than most places but their creative cocktails are worth it . Dim lit and a nice place to run into likeminded people
Good cocktails and a great atmosphere. Service was poor.
The Guesthouse has potential, but the service needs improvement. Some of the bartenders come off not so friendly, which creates an unwelcoming vibe. A little more warmth and friendliness would go a long way. On the bright side, the women bartenders provide great service, which is why I’m giving 2 stars.
Also, the atmosphere could use a boost—maybe a DJ or at least a better playlist to liven things up. Right now, it can feel dull. The plants are a nice touch, though!
Hoping management takes this feedback into account because it could be great with a few changes. Cheers! 🥂
I used to frequent this bar regularly for 4 years and had no issues until an extremely disturbing and dangerous incident occurred. One night, I found myself in a situation where I was surrounded by 5 individuals in the parking lot who were aggressively confronting me. While I was trying to de-escalate and keep them at bay from putting their hands on me, one of the bartenders, Dallas, intervened in a completely unprofessional and violent manner. Instead of diffusing the situation, she tackled me, joined in the assault, and shockingly disclosed my private information to these individuals. She was extremely intoxicated, sloppy and could barely speak.
Thankfully, a bystander stepped in and helped me get out of the situation. I returned the next day with the Orlando Police Department to file a report about my private information being given out, however declined to press charges out of loyalty, and the staff seemed to take it lightly, telling me it wasn’t a problem. When I visited the bar again the following week, I was escorted out and told they just wanted “time to pass.”
Out of respect, I stayed away for 3-4 weeks. When I finally returned with friends, I was asked to leave again with no explanation. This was an incredibly disheartening experience after being a loyal customer for years and spending thousands of dollars at this business.
It’s clear this establishment values neither customer loyalty nor safety. If a staff member is willing to act violently and share private information, and the bar takes no accountability for such behavior, I strongly urge others to be cautious about visiting this place.

I was a loyal customer at this bar for over 4 years and never had any issues until one night when I was put in an incredibly dangerous situation. I found myself alone and surrounded by 5 aggressive individuals in the parking lot who were threatening me and pushing me. While I was trying to defend myself and avoid escalation, a bartender named Dallas intervened in the worst way possible—she physically assaulted me by attempting to tackle me, joined in with the group, and even disclosed my private information to them. She was extremely intoxicated.
Thankfully, a bystander stepped in and helped me escape the situation. The next day, I returned with the Orlando Police Department to report what happened, especially regarding my private information being shared. The staff dismissed it as no big deal and assured me it wouldn’t be a problem, I declined to press charges out of loyalty, However, when I came back the following week, they asked me to leave, claiming they needed “time to pass.”
To respect their wishes, I stayed away for 3-4 weeks. When I finally returned with friends, I was again asked to leave without any clear reason. This experience has been deeply disappointing and alarming, especially after years of being a regular customer spending thousands of dollars.
It’s clear this bar does not value customer safety or loyalty. Staff should never act violently, let alone share private information with people ready to harm a customer. I can’t recommend this place to anyone—please be careful if you choose to go here.

never been somewhere with so many bar tenders yet such lack of service…
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GUESTHOUSE! This bar is a favorite of mine and my fiance, the drinks, the vibes, everything is amazing. Highly recommend the Saturn and an Army Navy to drink.

I’ve been coming here for years, and I truly love the bar, but it’s not for the bartenders or staff. It’s only for the friends that wanna unfortunately meet here for the drinks. I’m not sure if the staff are socially inept or just don’t care, but in the years of coming here, they just don’t know how to carry a conversation, or honestly don’t care too. Like the one time I asked for their name after ordering a drink, and they looked severely creeped out and offended I even asked. Even today on my bday, when it’s slow and dead, they act like they rather blow their brains out than say more than “hi” to you. As someone who works with people, it’s truly insane to me

I walked into this place expecting to have to spend a small fortune just to get a shot and a beer, but to my amazement they had an entire section of their menu dedicated to reasonably priced boilermakers. The house cocktails are also well priced at 10 to 12. I expected something closer to 15 as soon as I walked into the place.
I subtracted a star because it is obnoxiously dim lit in the place. If I wanted a power outage simulation, I'd stay at home, turn my lights out, and fire up some candles. Because that's basically how things are here. If I can't even read a newspaper or book at the bar, there simply isn't enough light.
Also, some others have mentioned the bartenders being rude. I didnt experience that at all and would assume it was a very specific experience, and not worth considering.
