The time has finally come that everyone seen coming. The Hall on the Yard has officially closed. Great idea but flawed execution. I hope whoever buys the vacant space reads these comments and actually follow through and fixes whatever the Hall On The Yard was supposed to be and they will sure to make a lot of money.

The only thing that saved this experience from being a two was the server because she was good. When we got there, there was no wait so that was nice. The host explained the concept as soon as we got in, which is that there are different kitchens, but you can order from any of the restaurants that are open. There were only four from the original seven kitchens that were operational. As soon as we tried to order a drink, she said that there was no tequila in the building. She had to check to see if they could make an espresso martini. They also seem to be out of a lot of different things and she had to go check and see what was available, which was not comforting. We had the fried okra which was actually very good and tasty. However, it was about $13 when it should’ve been about five. We also had the fried ribs and they were just OK, nothing to write home about. We also tried fried deviled eggs and it was $12 for two eggs and they were just OK as well. Definitely not a great value for the money. The busiest place seems to be the ice cream parlor that was outside but we didn’t try that. The drinks actually were good and they were strong. I tried an espresso martini as well as an old-fashioned and loved them both. I don’t know if willing to try again because the price point is pretty high and nothing was great. Parking is available in the neighborhood that surrounds the building, but there is also valet parking for eight dollars.
Parking: Valet is eight dollars or you can choose to find a parking spot along the street throughout the neighborhood that’s around the area
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly and lots of kids were running around outside
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible

Spent over one hour and forty minutes between ordering yet not getting one of our plates. Although we understand being understaffed, the other patrons that arrived after us got served first. There was no management involvement or anything else that would indicate they cared about the service level provided.Good drinks, however, our experience was bad enough for us to make a second visit. The first impression and handling of the issue was not pleasant.

What a waste of a great atmosphere. Food was good but priced like it was incredible so the value was terrible. Bar looks great but signature cocktail list was less impressive than Chilis. Gratuity of 20% included and servers seemed bored and inattentive. Furniture was very nice, though. We won’t be returning.

First off, I have to say this is very much comfort food and that isn’t my favorite to begin with. A lot of fried & heavy options. There are several restaurants within one location, so that’s a plus. Everyone in your party can order what they want any of the options. This was a really cool place when it first opened, but I think they haven’t kept up on the decor and keeping it looking fresh. That being said, there is a large green space (yard) with yard games and loungers to just sit and hang out. Great for families or groups looking to just hang out. If the tend to the decor details so it doesn’t look tired, this would be such a great place.

Came by to check my brother DJ Aaron Anthems. The manager Tee was very hospitable and nice. Definitely would recommend this place to other's. My bartender, he was on point as well. Food was amazing.

We stood at the front for a while and i eventually asked the bar tender if there was a hostess. The bar tender stated that there was a hostess but she was unsure where she was at at the moment. When we did interact with the Hostess she was not very friendly at all, she seemed agitated. she did not greet anyone and seemed aggravated when asked about the wait time.We ended up finding seats at the bar.I think the bar tenders name was Patience. And she indeed had that because people were running her ragged lol. I ordered the Italian from Normas - it was delicious. I wanted the fried plantain with pikliz from SK Fusion but they ran out. So i settled on the conch fritters but the batter was terribly dry. They also ran out of simple syrup. So my French 75 wasn't as tasty. The noise level wasn't too crazy, not too rowdy but also not extremely quiet. Just right.

Ordered from Shay’s Kitchen via online (awkward). The fried chicken and my daughter’s fish sandwich were mediocre. Presented in plastic baskets and checkered butcher paper. While this is in line with the kitchen’s southern theme, was definitely the most expensive comfort food I’ve ever had.Server was clearly filling in and may have been in management. Told us he would bring our food from Shay’s Kitchen to us, but needed to be told what we ordered 20 minutes later. He could not explain the delay of the order made by another member of our party. We were actually brought more food that wasn’t ours than food that actually was.The place is a good concept, but poorly run with very little organization and it shows. It was also very clear the place is not kept clean. Noticed spots and streaks all over the lighting fixtures. Also quite an eyesore for a place who’s average per entree is easily over $20-25 were several carts lined up along the wall near our table holding bus tubs full of used and dirty dishes. It would take the absence of any other option for me to return here. That is unfortunate because it really is a nice concept and could be made to work, but doesn’t in its current state of management. Food and drinks are completely overpriced. While I’m sure that is due to the extravagant nature of the atmosphere, it is far from warranted by the middle-of-the-road quality and taste.

Overpriced, food quality lame. $30 for a Parmesan chicken ???? The portion was half of what you can get in Olive Garden for $20.

the bartenders and bar backs are the reason we love this place. The staff is phenomenal, and they are reason we will come back week after week. Kyle and Anastasia are the reason we love this place.

Three stars because the burger was good. The bathrooms are Dirty and unattended. The waiter never came back to check our drinks and it took us 1/2 hour to get our check. They are really letting the place run down. Everyone is all over the place. Such a shame.

No service, no one came to our table. We saw the table next to us get up and leave for the same reason
Thoroughly enjoyed my lunch especially the Sangria. Will definitely be going back soon.
