The King Crab Shack Colonial Drive

Our first time here. WOW! To say we were unprepared for the experience is an understatement.We were given the royal treatment for sure!Neither of us had ever had king crab before. It took us a while to grasp that one or two claws would be enough to share. So I got a bowl of clam chowder and we decided to get some wings too. The crab legs come in a bag, with potatoes, corn and the house sauce that was rich and delectable. It was mildly spiced. The chowder was very very hot, but once it cooled down enough to taste, it was delicious. The wings! The wings were enormous! They were battered but they defy description. We had an embarrassing amount of food on the table, and all of it was fantastic.The decor is rustic, but the service is first class! Very attentive, very caring, very helpful, very friendly.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is super fun for kids. They have enormous built boats. And pirates your kids would enjoy taking pictures in front of. The price is accurate considering the amount of food you get. They have multiple flavor selections for your entree that you can choose from. The kids meals where rather large so I was able to have two kids share a meal. The blue crab was somewhat difficult to eat. Snow crab was the way to go. #tryit

We went on a Saturday at 3:15 and loved it! Super spacious and the food was delicious! The Combos are more than enough for 2 people to share and have left over! The lobster tails were huge, the snow crab had so much meat, the sausage was delish, the potatoes were big big and the corn was perfect. Savory with the House Sauce. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

everything is so amazing! the waitress was prompt and the seafood plentiful!! prices are average of those with seafood and the drinks were far above avg! check this place out when your in orlando! you will not be disappointed ♥️

Came on a Thursday evening. There were very few cars in the lot so it definitely was not busy (sat outside so didn't see inside) Took 45 minutes to get the fried gator appetizer and there weren't that many gator pieces in it. It did taste very good however. My party was there for an hour before they received their seafood bags. It was a disappointing experience and the only reason I'm giving 2 stars was the food tasted good.

I came to visit this restaurant because It caught my attention. I decided to give it a try initially for the 4 Star Rating it does not deserve! I order a Sea food broil like I normally order in other seafood restaurants. First of all I ordered my food with Garlic Butter no spice! When I receive my food I immediately noticed it was not garlic butter! I let the waiter know that the flavor of the food was not what i ordered. He goes to the kitchen and returns letting me know that it indeed was Garlic Butter. Now I know exactly how it’s suppose to taste and it was nowhere near garlic butter! And it was spicy although it was asked with no spice. The restaurant/waiter was very awkward. The waiter was waiting and waiting and waiting for another couple to pay and then he did the same to us which I had a feeling he was going to do. WAIT that’s not all the restaurant was suppose to close at 11:00PM and they closed the doors before 9PM which made us the last customers. When leaving the restaurant we realized the very few workers were also leaving. I was confused because I’m sure they’re suppose to be cleaning and prepping for the following day. Overall I was NOT satisfied and I will not be returning nor recommend this place to anyone that is trying to fulfill there seafood cravings.

Great for seafood boils! Loved the build your own bag and really a throw back with the lobster bibs. The flavors were good and options to get good spice. I would recommend bringing your own wet-naps for this one since it can get pretty messy. Overall, this is a fantastic experience and the service was exceptional and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this as a local favorite.

Food was delicious and fresh and staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!! Great place to pick for a birthday dinner!!

Server was very kind. Food delicious, but heavy for the stomach. The crab came inside a plastic bag, and they provided a feather plate with plastic silverware. I think that you should work on presentation (e.g., providing a tray/real plate and putting the crab there). It looked unprofessional and very casual. Finally, even though the server was a nice person, we (2 people) were the only table in the whole restaurant, and there were no pick up orders or whatsoever. Nevertheless, sometimes it took up to 10 minutes for them to come check on us. I would recommend for optimizing times.

I got ripped off! I checked the menu online AND at the location. Both menus stated that a 1/2 lbs of snow legs was 2 clusters. I ordered to go a full 1lbs because I am an AVID crab lover and know that 1/2 lbs is never enough. When I get home they only gave me 2 clusters instead of what I ordered which was 4. I called to let them know and the lady said no, it’s only one cluster per Pound. I know I’m not crazy so I went back to check the menu on site. While I’m there the menus are not on the counter as they were prior, yet funny enough the waitress is coming with ALL the menus (I swear they must of switched them while I was on my way) and I see that it says only one cluster. I’m not crazy! This is a scam. And look at the clusters, there is NO WAY one cluster is 1/2 a pound. One of them is even missing a leg. I never ever give reviews, but I feel soo ripped off I want to cry that I had to. I was looking forward to this meal for weeks. What a shame this is the type of business they run! I should have gone elsewhere! SMH never ever ever again. Note to others take a photo of the menu so they don’t do the bait and switch on you like they did me.

Wow. ? of a spot for some great seafood in Orlando. Great decor and service as well. And oddly enough, there are enough TVs you could watch some sports as well.Will definitely be back.

This place was great! The food and service was fantastic! The seafood was fresh and super delicious! The house sauce is top notch! There were 9 of us and most of us did the preset combos or made our own combo. This is what I would recommend, though someone in our group got a po boy and said it was also excellent. The server was super friendly and accommodating. We will be back for sure!

Very odd service to start but ended up fine. Food very tasty. Lobster very tough (overcooked) but edible. Shrimp, sausage, corn perfect. Got the combo sauce. Hostesses were masked but wait staff were not. For that reason I won't return until COVID is much more under control.

The food was so good. I recommend the garlic butter sauce for the steamed seafood. The portions are also generous. Definitely will go again.
