This bar has the unmistakable charm of a place that gave up somewhere around 2009 and never looked back. The floor is sticky in a way that feels less like a spill and more like a lifestyle choice, and the décor suggests a long-running experiment in how little maintenance a building can survive on before achieving sentience. Every surface looks tired—like it’s seen things, bad things.
Then there’s the live music, which arrives occasionally and without warning, like a plumbing issue. The bands seem to be learning their instruments in real time, bravely exploring the outer limits of volume while completely abandoning concepts like rhythm and tuning.
All in all, this bar is perfect if you enjoy tetanus-adjacent vibes, and the thrill of not knowing whether the strange noise you hear is part of the song or the building finally collapsing (which would be an upgrade for the adjacent businesses).

🏄♂️The Lucky Lure is an Orlando / Ivanhoe / North Orange Staple. It's your local dive--it's everything you expect and want. Cocktails in plastic cups when it's busy, glass when it's not. Open air so smoking is okay if that's your thing. Your drink strength correlates directly to how good of a conversation you can give the bartender.
🍸: I ordered a whiskey sour but got a Jack and Coke from a tipsy bartender on this day. The drink was... okay. But the memory will last a lifetime.

I went here on a first date. I was very apprehensive. The bar staff were amazing! I now have a new cousin Matthew, and a gentleman named Lee that I called Coach Beard. I've only seen the first season of Ted lasso so if coach beard turns out to be horrible then that's not him. The staff here went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable! I cannot speak highly enough of how great the experience it was. The date was okay! But I will have a cousin Matthew forever! This was a very safe and inviting place!

My friends and I went to this place to see a local musician we knew who was performing there. I'm local and have lived near here my whole life, but have never visited before. It was actually pretty nice, up until a few hours in some of our friends arrived and the bartender Jarred started acting weird. He ended up throwing us out and telling the bar next door to also not serve us. He actually came up to us several times after that saying that we were super nice and respectful and our ID's looked good (which they are, we're all late 20s) but he just got a weird vibe. Saw him later throw out the trash and completely miss and then forget the can out on the sidewalk too.... seems like he might have been sampling the goods if you catch my drift.
