It’s it unreal how my family got treated when ordering here. We placed an online order after working a 12hour shift, expecting our food to be ready once we get there. 30min passing and being told to wait ten more minutes while taking the customers who just arrived instead. On top of that this young Muslim giving attitude and nasty faces, telling us to stop talking while disregarding anything that was being said. It was very clear how angry we were considering we were yelling and still not being taken care of. Even worse, lady wearing a dress getting her sleeves on all the food. Never would I imagine Muslims treat other Muslims like this! Vile, upsetting, and disgusting.

I never leave bad reviews, but I feel guilty being the one who suggested The Mexican Camel. We spent about $50 on two bowls & two drinks: one chicken/shrimp and one lamb and the lamb actually tasted awful. Like so bad I didn’t even eat my food. My boyfriend even found a bone and a hair in his bowl, which just made me feel a little grossed out but we try and look at the bright side of things.
The only thing we actually liked was the Stubborn pineapple fountain drink. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

We recently visited The Mexican Camel and ordered two chicken bowls along with a chicken nachos dish. Everything we tried was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and complemented perfectly by the fresh ingredients and sauces. Every bite felt balanced—nothing too heavy or overpowering. The bowls and nachos both had a great mix of textures and flavors that made the meal satisfying from start to finish. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. They answered our questions, guided us through the options, and made the ordering process quick and pleasant. Overall, The Mexican Camel is an excellent choice if you are looking for flavorful bowls or nachos with a Mediterranean-Mexican twist. Great food, balanced flavors, and wonderful service—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Had a delicious vegetarian rice bowl! Generous portion & great service. I appreciated that they had Stubborn Soda available instead of the typical Pepsi/Coke

Friendly staff that will happily explain the menu to you in English and Spanish. My family came here 2x in one week. #1 bowl was good. The chicken Tingo was not very spicy on first time, second time it was. The chips and pita chips were a bit greasy but tasty! Food is filling and good.
The only negative feedback would be the Cheesy Camel option. While the ingredients and inside were amazing, the outside was toasted but it seems like the device used al to toast added burned flavor into the 🫓 pita bread. Even though the bread wasn't burned.
I would return again. 😋

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant’s food is really good and we have ordered here many times. I decided to call today and a guy that speaks no English answered and when I asked to speak to someone who does speak English, he said no and hung up.
I was calling to assure that the orders would be processed the right way because the last few times, they have been giving (2) of the same bowls when it is requested to have different toppings on each bowl. This was my only inconvenient experience with “customer service” over the phone!
I would recommend to management to have a Bilingual speaker answer the calls for customers that does not speak Spanish.
