I would highly recommend this bar. We're a couple of Brits that happened to stumble into here post Tasty Takeover and it ended up being our favorite bar we visited in the Milk District. Shout out to the bloke working behind the bar who was lovely and helpful. The fizz was a lovely gesture to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Cheers mate!
I came in for a Jazz night and the place was packed but luckily I was able to secure a spot at the bar. I liked the retro decor and the service was great. Jazz band that played that night could have been better, otherwise a great spot to try some local beers.
It’s The Nook! Of all the DIY bars I’ve been to around the country, I’m glad this one is so close to home and we can share so many artsy experiences here. Beer selection is always top-notch (it’s mostly craft beer—so don’t come looking for liquor or wine!) and it’s close to some of the better late night food-grabs right on a strip of very cool bars in the Milk District (TGLee is across the street).
