I really dislike the seating they put in. It was much better when it was standing room only. Seats are uncomfortable and cramped. Plus, you can't get up and dance. Yuk.
We recently organized the Follywood Film Festival at the Plaza Live Theatre, and I can't say enough good things about the venue. It's upscale and impeccably clean, creating a wonderful atmosphere for our event. The staff deserves a solid 10 out of 5 stars! They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The backstage green room was comfortable, and the technical team, including audio and video, was outstanding. The stage lighting was perfectly set, enhancing the overall experience. The bar looked great and added to the upscale vibe, and parking was ample and free.
Megan, the main manager, and Shelby, the director, were both fantastic to work with. Lynn, Mika, and the rest of the staff were equally amazing.
For our red carpet awards night, they even allowed an outside caterer to sell food, which was a nice touch. The cost of hosting an event at the Plaza Live is just right for such a wonderful venue. We highly recommend it!
Fabulous venue!!
Great venue, saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show & it was awesome! I was in a back row but it was okay.
I love coming here to see rock bands that I did not see 40 years ago. Like the fixx , Carl Palmer from the ElP. Incredible sound and atmosphere!
The best is security and Kimberly that help me find my seat! She was amazing ! God bless her . We need more people like her on ?earth.
Great venue! Not one bad seat
Nice venue
I was so excited to attend a show with the new renovation. I saw the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra on October 30. The orchestra was fabulous. The lobby looks great and the acoustics sounded really good. I was disappointed that the seating is the same seating they’ve had previously which is uncomfortable, and too close together.
The people sitting on both sides of me were in my personal space.
I am crossing my fingers that new seats are still to come with the overall renovation!
Also, there were no water fountains available, and you had to buy bottled water!
Great venue!! My first time there and I have been in Orlando since 1987. My only wish is for more comfortable chairs. My back was killing me during the Jeff Ross show and still is today. I will be back if news chairs are available!!!
Cool venue, parking around the venue is plentiful. We saw Theresa Caputo here and it was an awesome experience all around.

Love how they transformed this place. I've been here for several shows and had a great time every time.
Amazing concert experience. Hopefully more metal bands play here!
Cool and intimate little event space right in a hip part of Orlando.
Venue runs the shows well. Really need a better group of artists and less unknowns. Cudos for taking chances on up and coming groups. Would live the middle ground between Boomer Heaven and Tidepod Hipster..
I saw leprous at this venue. There was a no moshing or crowd surfing rule which I can kind of see given the type of venue it is. Seems like it’s for more dialed back performances but no big deal. Venue is very clean, the staff is very nice, and the venue feels safe. Plenty of parking too. I’d come back.
