(4/9/2024) We stumbled upon The Porch on a Tuesday night, it was in the neighborhood and there was no wait. It happened to be Trivia Night, which was entertaining enough. We had a variety of dining styles amongst us, I'm a fan of apps for dinner, so got several small plates. We started with 12 wings, and got the Liquid Gold and the Porch Medium. The wings were super fat and juicy, not much crispiness to them on the whole, but tasty enough. Also started with the Fire Bites, a cream cheese stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon and broiled and served with pepper jelly, deliciously salty and with some heat, depending on the jalapeno. Things kind of went downhill from there. The Peel & Eat Big Reds were mealy and overcooked. The Flowersprouts, a mix of roasted cauliflower and Brussels were well-broiled, the vinaigrette had separated and the oil pooled at the bottom of the dish, overall very salty. The burgers and tacos were serviceable, but no one seemed very thrilled. One annoyance is the trend of paper on a tray that you eat off of. The paper gets soggy and you can use utensils to eat your food without shredding all the paper into it. Interesting enough cocktail list with a decent pour. Service was nonchalant, condiments and utensils forgotten and a whole dish was not brought out. The server cancelled it, but seemed unphased, like it happens all the time. If it's in your neighborhood, not bad place to stop in for some trivia, but maybe just stick to the basic pub grub. The table said the tater tots were the best thing they had on their plates.

Awesome!Fish and Grits! Went there for an early dinner with My Daughter. Very Nice. Staff are Friendly. We didn't wait long to be served either. We sat outside. I definitely will go again.

The food was good, the service was fast and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. Lots of TVs around to watch games-basketball ( let's go Magic! Awww, come on Marlins!) so everyone was satisfied with whatever sports genre they wanted to see. Lots of space with outdoor seating and rest area seating if there's a wait to be seated, plus plenty of seating at the bar. I dined in blackened grouper tacos and a side salad. It was supposed to be a Caesar salad but they brought out a house salad. Server was very nice in suggesting she'd get the Caesar, but I kept my house salad and have to say, it was quite tasty. My tacos were good but the blackening wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be, but that's okay because it let me fully taste the grouper. It wasn't as crispy either but the fish was moist and flaky and the drizzled dressing was bland. My husband had a smash burger and fries. His fries were crispy and golden brown. First time I ever saw fries shaped like scoops, the better to keep catsup dripping onto your clothes. His burger was juicy and messy. He said it was good, and it looked like it was. So glad we stumbled on The Porch.

The service is always top notch but most importantly... the beer is always SO COLD. I don't even know how they get it so cold but we love it. Chicken tenders are the best in orlando too.

Great food & drinks and excellent service! Our server Galen was so fun! We had just landed in Orlando and she & Brooke were super welcoming and gave us a ton of great recommendations for the area. The manager, Brandon, was awesome and stopped by our table to talk about Orlando too! Overall, would highly recommend!

Wow. Just the perfect lunch spot, quick service, helpful staff that quickly realized old folks don't do so well at high top tables and switched us to a booth. All the normal drinks, beers and draft for every palate. The Porch tacos were very good, recommended. You also won't go wrong ordering the "Get Porked" southern pulled pork sanwich.

Customer service and facilities were great. Kind of a bar vibe with plenty of TVs to watch a game. We came in during the evening and were able to sit a large group (8) with ease. Bartenders, waitress, and hostesses all were very nice and worked quickly. I ordered wings with ranch and with a side basket of fries and a couple of beers throughout. Wings were decent overall, although I'd prefer them to have a little bit more crunch to them, they were more soft to the bite. The garlic Parmesan was a little underwhelming in flavor and the sweet heat was not hot as I was expecting. Their fries are close to being considered chips but not crunchy like you'd expect. The items on their menu are a little bit higher priced then I'd like, about 40 dollars a person (with drinks). Overall this place gets the job done but doesn't have anything that really makes it stand out, at least on my trip, that would make it a routine "favorite". However, if you're in town visiting, not sure where to go for the night, or have a game you'd like to watch, this place will certainly meet your needs and you will be happy overall. 4 stars but probably more like 4.5.
